Stitch with Holiday Cheer during Jolly Housewives 2021!

Now that it’s November and Christmas music is allowed (the rule for Christmas music is that we can start listening after Halloween…right?), I’m getting ready for the holidays! And of course, I’m looking forward to another year of Jolly Housewives with two of my favorite ladies, Priscilla and Chelsea from the Real Housewives of Cross Stitch! Would you like to join in the holiday cheer? You can stitch along with us by stitching your favorite holiday patterns designed by Stitching with the Housewives. Let’s get ready for Jolly Houswives 2021 with some of my favorite holiday cross stitch patterns and notions!

The Jolly Housewives Stitch Along starts December 1 and lasts until December 31. I’m itchin’ to stitch, so I’m starting early on November 29. Each day I will be working on a new pattern and sharing my progress (which of course I’ll record in my Cross Stitch Journal)! Priscilla and Chelsea have designed a batch of wonderful holiday-themed designs we’ll be making for this stitch along. You can stitch along with me or choose your own patterns from Stitching with the Housewives that you can find on the Stitching with the Housewives Page.

Stitch Buffalo Plaid Christmas

The headliner of this year’s Jolly Housewives is Buffalo Plaid Christmas, a precious Christmas pattern designed by the Real Housewives of Cross Stitch.

My Buffalo Plaid Christmas kitted up!

I’ll be stitching Buffalo Plaid Christmas with the Buffalo Plaid Christmas Classic Colorworks Fancy Floss Pack on Chalkboard Black 14 Count Aida by Wichelt!

My 2021 Jolly Housewives Projects

In total, I’ll be working on nine new cross stitch designs throughout December until they’re ready to be FFO’d. Read below to take a peek at my other holiday patterns that I’ll be working on during Jolly Housewives.

Hello Santa

Another project that I’ll be working on this year is Hello Santa by Stitching with the Housewives.

Hello Santa is kitted up and ready to be stitched!

I’m using the new Hello Santa Classic Colorworks Fancy Floss Pack on Chalkboard Black 14 Count Aida by Wichelt!

Jolly Housewives Goodies

Christmas came early this year! We have some festive Jolly Housewives gear that would make great gifts for any cross stitcher.

We included all of the floss and notions you’ll need for this stitch along on the Jolly Housewives supply page!

Jolly Housewives Dates

Starting Wednesday, December 1, join me on our Cross Stitch Instagram and Facebook for Jolly Housewives updates through the end of the year. Join me each Wednesday at 9 AM CST on Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube to see what I’m stitching.

We created a FREE downloadable calendar so you can jot down the details for each project you plan to stitch. This is such a great way to keep track of progress and it will keep you accountable. If you want to organize each project, then you might want to check out our Cross Stitch Journal. The Cross Stitch Journal allows you to record every detail for every cross stitch project, such as pattern, designer, time spent, and floss and cloth used.

Share with #JollyHousewivesSAL

On December 1 the fun begins! While you stitch along with us, share your work on Facebook and Instagram with #JollyHousewivesSAL! Be sure to tag us @fqsxstitch, @priscillablain and @chelsea356 so we can see and share your work! Get updates from The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch on Priscilla’s blog and their FlossTube Channel.

Happy Stitching!

  1. So cute! Can you get the cross stitch pattern for the truck with the tree in the back (picture at the top of your post) without the bag? Just the cross stitch pattern?
    Thanks.

  2. Good morning!

Will you be doing a 2022 calendar similar to the one in the link above. I LOVE it. So sad that I did not know about the link earlier in the 2021 year it would have looked soooo cute in my sewing room.
