It’s Sew Emma Spotlight: Always Be Mine

Hi Jolly Jabbers,

It’s Debbie Taylor here today to talk about my new pattern.

Be ready for that special Valentine with our new Always Be Mine Tablerunner Pattern by It’s Sew Emma! This was designed as a tablerunner but could also double as a banner to hang for this special holiday.  To convert it into a banner all you would need to do is flip the direction of the hearts so they are all the same direction.

The Always Be Mine Tablerunner features the Always & Forever collection by Deb Strain for Moda Fabrics. The inspiration for this quilt began with the quilt panel. It was too cute to be cut up into small segments so I used the main piece as the center. There are so many great prints that accompany this line: tiny hearts, florals, polka dots, tone-on-tones in reds, pinks and white backgrounds. I wanted to use as many prints as possible in this design. The best way to showcase them was to border the panel with small pieces of the prints.

For the top and bottom border, I chose two pre-printed hearts also from the main panel, one that says “Always” and one that says “Forever”!  I then bordered these with smaller red hearts and voila!

If you are ready for a quick and easy project, Always Be Mine Tablerunner Kit is the project for you.

The Always Be Mine pattern is available as a paper pattern and a PDF pattern. If you are a store owner interested in this pattern please contact United Notions about pattern ISE-116.
