  1. Absolutely I made a resolution this year for my quilting. After being away from it (except for the occasional small project), due to having several surgeries, I told my hubby that this year is going to be a SUPER productive quilting year for me. Last month I sent off two large quilts to my SIL in Oregon for the long-arm work, so that is two out of 7 UFO's taken care of. I also resolve to get my stash built up and organized. I'm sorely lacking in several colors and I have no Holiday fabrics to speak of, so as finances allow, I was to get some of those "holes" filled in. At least, that's the plan, LOL.
Happy New Year to all and big hugs all around…

  2. OOPS, meant to add that I have not yet been able to get quilts made for my daughters and my grandchildren (except for the oldest grandson, who surprised me by asking if I would send him a quilt I had made for his bed before he joined the Air Force.) I was so excited that he wanted it, that I realized it was time to get busy on quilts for the rest of them. Though I'm having a bit of trouble finding the right fabrics for my 13 year old and 19 year old grandsons. I want masculine, but not harsh…does that make sense? More hugs…

  3. I'm with Carrie – finish up the many projects I have begun and not finished because I started something else. I want to make so many patterns and get all excited and start something beautiful and don't get the one I am presently working on completed. I must stop that!

  4. My resolution; Get That Sewing Machine! No more worrying, no more what if (the fridge breaks down, the car breaks down, etc.), just Get That Sewing Machine!

  5. I'm going to finish everything I start and not put it away to languish in the UFO closet! Think I can do that? LOL. Happy New Year, Kimberly, to you, your family and staff!

  6. I resolve to finish all those UFO's around my sewing room. Also, love the Funky Monkey fabric. I have made two quilts with the fabric and ready to make the third!!!
