First Blush Blog Hop & Free Pattern

It’s the perfect time of year to bring some bright, floral patterns into your home! Just one glance at these playful prints from the new First Blush collection will put a smile on your face. What better way to find inspiration than a blog hop with a new free quilt every day! (Plus, who doesn’t love the opportunity to snag some free prizes!?)

We’re excited about this fabric for a few reasons.  First, it’s just so pretty.  Second, it’s the basis of our eponymous First Blush BOM Quilt book!

These bright, happy florals inspired our Marigold quilt – a free pattern we designed just for you! (Download here.)  Pick 24 of these pretty prints and mix and match them to your heart’s content. The assortment of print sizes in these 1930’s inspired prints pair perfectly with one another with just enough variety to keep it fun!

If you’re ready to tackle an heirloom quilt out of First Blush, our BOM quilt is a stunner.  Intricate blocks are made from simple stripsets and our Starburst Ruler from Creative Grids.

  13. That is such a lovely quilt and the fabric is so pretty! I'm always drawn to quilts with lots of white so the colours of the fabric really pop.

  15. I just want to gently pet it first while looking over pattern ideas, and then jump for joy as the perfect match pops into my head!! JH

  16. Thank you for hosting a blog tour. Is always fun to see what this talented bloggers and crafters do with the same collection. Very inspiring! I love when they show tutorials. I would make a set of pillowcases as a gift for Christmas for my family and a little quilt too.

  17. I have 8 grandgirls so any new patterns would be great. We live in cold country so quilts are required in the winter months. Looks like fun patterns. Thanks for your generosity.

  18. You made me lookup the word EPONYMOUS; I like it but don't know where I could ever use it. I do like your fabric designs too and I know just where I would use them – to make dresses for my two granddaughters, and then perhaps a small quilt for each of them.

  19. I love this fabric group! It looks both new and old, at the same time. Thanks for sharing the cute Marigold pattern! It is going in my "Grandgirl" quilt file!

  20. This would be a really fun block of the month to do. I would love to work on it, especially with the dark days of winter coming up. The fabrics are so bright and cheerful.
