Fat Quarter Style Book Tour Week Four Round Up! - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Fat Quarter Style Book Tour Week Four Round Up!

Welcome to the Fat Quarter Style Book Tour Week Four Round Up! We’re at the end of our tour, and if you have not been following the blog tour, don’t worry! We’ll show you all of the amazing quilts at the end. In this week’s round up, we have Erin of Why Not Sew?, Kristyne of Pretty By Hand, and Amy of Diary of a Quilter joining us!

First up is Erin of Why Not Sew? , and she created a lap size version of our Lattice quilt with Lori Holt’s Vintage Happy collection! Check out her adorable pieced backing as well!

Next, we have Kristyne of Pretty By Hand. She recreated the Plume quilt block using a linen taupe fabric from her stash. She thought it would be fun to do a reverse-value block, so she made her “plume” darker than her prints rather than lighter, and it looks absolutely adorable!

To end our tour, we have Amy of Diary of A Quilter, and she created our Blossom quilt block using Cotton + Steel fabrics and some Kona Solids in Ash as her background. We love her use of prints!

If you’ve missed on our previous Fat Quarter Style bloggers, here’s a quick recap:

Paula of The Sassy Quilter

 Kelly of My Quilt Infatuation

Caroline of Sew Can She

Jana of Jana Machado

Lee of Freshly Pieced

Holly of Bijou Lovely

Ashley of Film in The Fridge

Erin of Why Not Sew?

Kristyne of Pretty By Hand

  11. Normally I would say Emblem, but after realizing there were 40+ pieces of fabric involved in making this block, I changed my mind and went with BLOSSOM. I really like both color combinations, the one featured in the book and the one Amy did. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  16. The "Primrose" block is my favorite in the book. I have several fat quarters that would make beautiful flowers using this block. Thanks, FQS!

  18. It is really hard to pick just one of the patterns from this book….they are all really cute. If I just have to pick one I would say the Sparklettes pattern…very cute. I have enjoyed seeing all the different quilts made up from the book….keeping my fingers crossed to win.

  19. There several blocks that I really like, but if I must pick a favorite (read that as the one I would make first) it would be the Primrose block by Holly of Bijou Lovely.
