Fat Quarter Style Birthday Celebration: Plume Quilt

Happy Birthday Fat Quarter Style! We are celebrating Fat Quarter Style‘s first birthday with 12 quilts for 12 days on the Jolly Jabber. Our resident quilt staff have sewed up their favorite quilts from the book and we cannot wait to show you!

Today, we’re featuring the Plume quilt. This quilt pattern is so versatile and a great way to show off your favorite prints. Our original Plume quilt was created in some of our favorite traditional green and red prints (perfect for Christmas!).

Our quilty staff, Daniar wanted to give Plume a modern twist with a touch of whimsy with some of her favorite prints from Anna Maria Horner’s collection, Folk Song, and Tula Pink’s Elizabeth collection.

Check out the paisley quilting in variegated rainbow thread as well!

  1. This is such a great fun give away and sharing of creativity.
I have made a lot of quilt tops, but I have "quiltaphobia" so I do not finish quilts. I did finish one for my brand new first grand baby, Sarah. It is not win worthy, but perhaps I will send in a picture just to share.
Thank you for this opportunity, and mostly I love this book

  2. I could never figure out why it was called the Plume quilt until I saw Danair's version, and it's clear now. Lovely quilt, I think this might be the first one I make out of the book.
