Even More Merry Makeovers

Once you start sewing these Fat Quarter Stockings, you’ll never want to stop! Lucky for you, we made a trio of stockings using different foundation papers and other creative customizations to inspire your holiday creations. The collections, foundation paper, and fun details for each of these stockings are listed below.

The first stocking uses fabric from the American Gatherings III collection by Primitive Gatherings for Moda Fabrics and features two of the 12″ Pineapple Blocks on the front and back of the stocking. For the modifications on this one, there is a shorter cuff and no heel or toe detail because it looked perfect as-is!
For the middle stocking, the body is made with a solid piece of Magic Dot Cherry fabric, and the 6″ Pineapple Block makes the toe and heel (using Bella Solids Super White and Bella Solids Pine)! To add a cuddly touch to this one, the cuff is made with Cuddle in Snow White. The lazy daisy embroidery detail on the toe and heel really earns this stocking its laurels!
The stocking on the right also uses the 12″ Log Cabin Foundation Paper, but has a different quilting design, uses batting for a more relaxed look, and it’s double-sided. The fabric for this one is from the Sun-Drenched Collection by Sweetfire Road for Moda Fabrics.
