  1. I don't have a favorite because I don't have them. But I've been really wanting the Beginners Guide to Free Motion Quilting and Sweet Celebrations.

  2. My current favorite is Rayna Gillman's "Create Your Own Free-Form Quilts." Not only is it eye-candy, she addresses the need to sometimes just sit down and sew mindlessly, rather than feeling like you have to make a masterpiece every time you enter your sewing room. Definitely takes the pressure off. I'm doing to try to do more of that this year. 🙂

  3. (oh — I don't have any of the ones listed above so I don't know which of those would be my favorite. I'd love to see the Beginner's Guide, though)

  4. I haven't really quilted before and I don't have any quilting books, so I don't have a favorite yet. I'm really wanting to make a cathedral quilt this year so maybe I'll catch the quilting bug.

My favourite for the holiday season is my copy of Linda DeBono's Merry and Bright.

  194. Wow what a great opportunity, thanks! But I have to be honest: I love learning so my favorite book would be the one I am working with at the time. The way I work it is if I have learned something valuable from each book I have then I keep it for 6 months to make sure I have it down right and then it goes to my library if it is something that someone else would like to learn then after 6 months I will loan it to that person. For all other books that I really did not get the concept or like what I did I will pass it onto our Kids group that are learning to quilt and they get to add it to their library. So it is a win win for more than just me. Believe it or not I have been doing this for years and I have never had a book not come back to me that I have loaned out. Right now I am into FMQ and would love to win any of those books. Have a great day

  195. I love Simplify by Camille Roskelley. I have just started to learn about quilting, and the Vintage Modern fabric line was what first inspired me.

  199. What a great contest. Quilt books are so much fun to read and gain knowledge and inspiration! As the librarian for our quilt guild I am always on the outlook for books that will appeal to multi levels of quilting expertise. Any of these would be fabulous to have on our shelves. Probably my personal favourite is "Fat Quarter Quilts" and subsequent editions. The versatility of small pieces of fabric for fun, quick projects keeps me intrigued.

  205. I looked at my collection of books and the one that resulted in the MOST quilts for me is Ami Simms Picture Play Quilts. I was a nut for kids and novelty prints for SOOOO many years.
