I don't have a favorite because I don't have them. But I've been really wanting the Beginners Guide to Free Motion Quilting and Sweet Celebrations.
My current favorite is Rayna Gillman's "Create Your Own Free-Form Quilts." Not only is it eye-candy, she addresses the need to sometimes just sit down and sew mindlessly, rather than feeling like you have to make a masterpiece every time you enter your sewing room. Definitely takes the pressure off. I'm doing to try to do more of that this year. 🙂
What a generous giveaway! My favorite book is simple blessings by Kim Diehl.
(oh — I don't have any of the ones listed above so I don't know which of those would be my favorite. I'd love to see the Beginner's Guide, though)
Beginners guide to free motion quilting would be great !

I would be interested in Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting, because I am just starting to include a lot more patterns to my quilts. I believe that the "quilting" is just as important as the pattern, and I love the feel of a piece that has a lot of stitiching. It also adds texture to the project. Look at the Amish quilts. They're pieces are limited on the color, but amazing on the stitching.

Wow what a great opportunity, thanks! But I have to be honest: I love learning so my favorite book would be the one I am working with at the time. The way I work it is if I have learned something valuable from each book I have then I keep it for 6 months to make sure I have it down right and then it goes to my library if it is something that someone else would like to learn then after 6 months I will loan it to that person. For all other books that I really did not get the concept or like what I did I will pass it onto our Kids group that are learning to quilt and they get to add it to their library. So it is a win win for more than just me. Believe it or not I have been doing this for years and I have never had a book not come back to me that I have loaned out. Right now I am into FMQ and would love to win any of those books. Have a great day

Eva
What a great contest. Quilt books are so much fun to read and gain knowledge and inspiration! As the librarian for our quilt guild I am always on the outlook for books that will appeal to multi levels of quilting expertise. Any of these would be fabulous to have on our shelves. Probably my personal favourite is "Fat Quarter Quilts" and subsequent editions. The versatility of small pieces of fabric for fun, quick projects keeps me intrigued.
Jan Krentz "Lone Star and Beyond"

Too many choices!
I think I will have to go with the first quilting book I ever bought: It's Okay If You Sit On My Quilt by Mary Ellen Hopkins.
I'm sure it's old-fashioned and terribly "unModern", but it started me off with two of the first gift quilts I ever made, and has informed my quilting mentality for the last five years.
Plus, the name is adorable.
Sweet Celebrations by Moda Bake Shop
Great giveaway. My all time favorite and one of my 1st books was Karla Alexanders Getting Started book (do not remember the title)
I'm new to quilting and only because I learned that someone like me, who has modern taste, can quilt with modern fabrics, colors, and styles! It's so exciting that I can't get enough. As for my favorite book, how can you pick a favorite when you are an absolute sponge, ready to learn from so many who know so much more than you? Thank you for the opportunity to learn!
You are so correct….there are sew many to choose from. One of my long time favorite quilt books is Block Party by Marsha McCloskey. It has 120 9" rotary cut blocks but also the templates if you choose. In addition to the block library it has a great section on setting ideas and easy design variations for designing your own quilt. There is a color photo of each block and alternate ways to make each block look by changing the location of the light, medium, and dark fabric. Easy to read cutting chart. I had the spine cut off and a spiral insert so I can lay my book flat open or stand up on my book holder. Thank you for the opportunity to win more new books. I love my quilt book library, so much versatile inspiration.

I don't have a favorite as do not have most of the books in your list and have not read them. So, will answer the question with the one I most want to read: Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting Book, C&T Publishing, Natalia Bonner.
My husband gave me "The Quilters Ultimate Visual Guide" for Christmas. It's packed with information and inspiration.
NO FAIR! I do not have a favorite quilting because I learn so much from everyone I have. But I really like my Barbara Brachman & Jenny Beyer Encyclopedias of Quilting Blocks ( not actual title) When I get bored I make some blocks from those books. I like figuring out and drafting the blocks then making them. When I have enough I make a quilt out of the blocks…. Loving the new modern blocks… wish someone would make a encyclopedia for Modern Blocks.
