Farm Girl Vintage by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet

Hi Lori Holt lovers! If you have been keeping up on instagram, Lori of Bee in my Bonnet has been showing some sneak peeks of what’s in store with It’s Sew EmmaWe are excited to announce her newest book with It’s Sew Emma, Farm Girl Vintage

Remember Lori’s Quilty Barn Along on her blog a couple of years ago? Well, this book is a continuation of her sew-along and was inspired by her early life growing up on a farm. Farm Girl Vintage contains 14 different projects including ten quilts, two table runners, a table topper and a potholder. The crowning glory of Lori’s book is the Farm Girl Sampler quilt on the cover, which is made with the 45 colorful sampler blocks (in 6″ and 12″ sizes). Lori also included 3 farm blocks in the book!

Here’s a little taste of the projects in Farm Girl Vintage

Last week, we ventured into the Texas country for our fun photoshoot, as well!

Farm Girl Vintage is available for pre-order today, and by pre-ordering at Fat Quarter Shop, you’ll receive a BONUS Canning Season pattern by Lori, which will retail for $9.98 and includes a small quilt and two mason jar covers to go with your Farm Girl Vintage book!

  1. @Brenda Hi! The Canning pattern will be included in your pre-order. After the pre-order period is over, the pattern will be available for purchase separately for $9.98

  2. My girlfriend and I bought a book each at our local quilt shop and I cannot wait to get started on the vintage farm girl quilt . But nowhere in the book can we find the measurements of the 12 inch block quilt the finish size. How much you need to buy for the binding for the sashing or for the backing. If you could please let us know the finished size, and how much we need for the backing, borders, sashing it would be wonderful. This is for the Farm Girl Vintage 12" block quilt. We are anxious to get started on it. thank you.

  3. Hideho dear quilting friends. How excited are we going to do the farm girl quilt by Lori at our Momday Quilters of St Marys in Rock Hill SC. What fun year we will have together. R2

  4. Hi! There is a group of us wanting to do all the blocks in Farm Girl Vintage. We are making 12 inch blocks and we can't figure out how much background fabric we would need if we make it all white. Can you help us?
