Fall Quilt Market 2013: Saturday

What a day it has been! It was our first day of the Quilt Market show and we had a lot to see! We spent the day browsing the gorgeous new collections and patterns, chatting with designers, ordering new fabrics, tweeting, taking plenty of photos, and filming some fantastic tutorials. We were definitely busy! And now we are giving you a closer look!

  1. I would love to see Vanessa from V and Co. Her pillows with the new Color Me Happy line are so beautiful. Would love to see her demonstrate them or fun ways to use the broad striped fabrics.

  2. Probably something from Tula Pink. So many lovely designers, it's difficult to choose just one. Quilt market looks wonderful.

  12. It's fun to see the videos when I make the time. I think anybody who feels comfortable in front of the camera keeps my attention. If its boring I move on. It seems Camille would be a great choice.

  13. I would love a video by Edyta Sitar, especially to see her use the laser cuts to make a block. I would also love to have a template of the car used in her quilt shown at School House. Also love Fig Tree and Camille Roskelley, and Bunny Hill, and Vanessa and so many of them. So enjoying all the videos, tweets etc from Market. Thanks Fat Quarter Shop.

  14. with all the great designers is my wish for the video's.This is a way to hard to chose just one. I will trust you do them and watch whatever you post. Awesome group of designers who work very hard at trying to read our minds for new products!!

  26. I love Kansas Troubles and French General fabrics and the way the quilts look when they are finished in these lines, so either of those is one I'd watch. And Me and My Sister are such a funny team that I have to include them.

  31. all great choices so far, boy it's hard to choose just one! I'd like something unusual and a bit different, so I'll say whoever is the farthest travelled designer and least often seen!

  32. Hummmmm! I think Anna Sutton, only because I would like to know how she gets so much appliqué done so fast.i think I buy all her patterns, but I'm slow at completing them!

  33. I would love to see a tutorial from Kansas Troubles. It looks like a jelly roll quilt as you go

  34. Can I pick two like at Panera Bread? LOL! It is hard for me to choose between Camille Roskelley and Tula Pink. Both would be awesome! I have enjoyed Camille's Craftsy classes and she would do a great job!

  40. Little quilts for sure. would like to hear what Little Quilts is up to now and how they have evolved through the 80's, 90's, up to now. also when will they do another book, sure to become a classic quilt book. Oh, and thank you for this amazing coverage of Quilt Market online. just great.

  84. I would have to say with Sandy of American Jane. I love her fabrics and projects. She either does French fabrics or vintage looking schools fabrics always in the red, blue, yellow and green colorways.

  85. All are wonderful, especially Me & My Sister Hubba Hubba, I love their fabric, have used it may times. I am a big fan of Nancy Halverson and Benartex, I have her collection from every Christmas season
