Designer Tidbits: Primitive Gatherings + Giveaway

The Fat Quarter Shop is excited to welcome Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings to the Jolly Jabber. Lisa’s latest fabric collection is Seasonal Little Gatherings for Moda Fabrics.

Q: What or who would you dedicate this collection to? Do you have an inspiration board?
A:My family for making Christmas and Fall Holidays so much fun!!! My inspiration board is Pinterest…can’t beat it!

Q: What is your favorite project using this collection?
A:I would have to say…Home for the Holidays Quilt.

Q: If time travel became possible, what year would you want to be in?
A:I would want to be in the 1880’s…fabrics were awesome… hopefully I would have some money to buy larger amounts for a border here and there…if not I could get by on just making scrappy quilts…

Q:If you had to change your first name what would you change it to?
A:When I was a kid I always wanted to be a Kelly… like Farrah Fawcett on Charlie’s Angels.

Q:What was your favorite childhood TV show?
A:I really didn’t watch a lot of TV…but the one I watched the most was Gilligan’s Island…it was on right at suppertime and I remember eating supper in front of the tube when my Dad was not home yet.

Q:Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
A:I don’t think I have met anyone officially that was famous…unless you count meeting Debbie Mumm in the bathroom at Quilt Market.

Q:What is your favorite App to play on your phone?
A:I do not “play” much…does looking at my online banking count? Oh, and I do “play” on Pinterest!

Q:If you could marry a technology, what would it be?
A:Video…I love movies…
