The Fat Quarter Shop is excited to welcome Bari J. Ackerman to the Jolly Jabber. Bari J’s latest fabric collection is Lilly Belle from Art Gallery Fabrics.
Q: What or who would you dedicate the Lilly Belle collection to? Do you have an inspiration board?
A:I tend to imagine places I’d like to go or have been in creating a collection. This was inspired by my imaginary story of Lilly Belle who lives on a beautiful old world estate with gorgeous gardens overflowing with flowers and luxurious rooms.
Q: What is your favorite project using this collection?
A:So far, my favorite project is the bench I slipcover-ed for my quilt market booth.
Q: If time travel became possible, what year would you want to be in?
A:1922.
Q:If you had to change your first name what would you change it to?
A:Oooh, that one is hard… when I was a kid, I always wanted to change my name. Now I like my name. I think if I had to change it though, I would be “Emma.”
