Designer Select: Tim and Beck

This month’s designer select is playful, bright and full of jungle fun. Bungle Jungle is the first collection by Tim and Beck, a husband and wife duo at Moda Fabrics.  After making the switch from designing paper goods and moving from Utah, Tim and Beck have found themselves in California designing fabric. The change of pace suits them very well.

Tim and Beck chose twelve prints and three solids to create their designer select bundle, and are making their first appearance on the Jolly Jabber to chat about it!

Q: What inspired you to pick the colors and designs in your Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle?
A:Turquoise and gray, I simply can’t get enough! I loved the way the classic red popped next to the turquoise and gray so i chose a few red accents to add to the bundle.

Q: What are 3 words you would choose to describe this collection, not including any of the fabric designs!
A: Whimsical on parade, sweetness & cozy creatures

*2 Truths and a Lie*
1. The name of the collection was inspired by a Jethro Tull song
2. We visited our local zoo daily while designing this collection
3. Beck’s favorite animal is the giraffe

One of the 3 statements is false. Comment on this post telling me which statement you think is false. Answer correctly and you have a chance to win Tim and Beck’s Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle!

You have exactly one week from the post date.
Good Luck!

  1. I think #2 is false. I LOVE this
    collection-perfect for my daughter's nursery!

  2. well guess I'll be the odd ball and say #1. So I'll be the odd ball that loses! LMAO Tim and Becky love your line of fabrics!

  3. I say #2 is false, because unless you live in DC where the zoo is free, daily visits would break the bank!

  4. I think the clue that her favorite animal is a giraffe is false because Tim has chosen some lovely elephant prints to please her. Lovely!

  5. I'm going to guess that #2 is false, because I just can't imagine going to the zoo every day, lol! Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. I think #2 is false. It would be expensive to visit a zoo everyday while designing a collection … unless you could design a collection in a day or two.

  7. Hmmmm…I remember Bungle in the Jungle, so I'm going to flip a coin (not really) and guess that #3 is not correct.

    Cute collection!

  8. This is tough – I personally could go to the zoo everyday if it were feasible, and I know the JT song…and giraffes are awesome. But there are a lot more elephants, so I'll go with #3. Whatever the answer, it's a cute line – congratulations and thanks for the giveaway!

  9. This is tricky, as I can see lots of elephants but giraffes are my favourite animal as they are so graceful so they could be yours too. Also I cannot imagine going to the zoo every day but if you live near by and have a pass then why not. I will go with number 2 though.

  10. I think it's 2 . Coz giraffes are very cute animals and 1 is correct . So here's hoping you choose me .! Thanks .

  11. I would LOVE to win their Bungle Jungle fat quarters. I think the only statement not true is that they went to the zoo every day while designing this collection! And I love that this is a husband/wife team! How exciting to work together creating beautiful and fun fabric!

  12. I am guessing number 2 is a lie… although I see more elephants than giraffes…
Ilove all these colors..already have a few of the prints:) This would certainly be a huge bonus!

  13. my guess at the false statement woudl be #2. I can imagine them visiting the zoo, but daily???? That's a bit much.

  14. I'm going to guess that Beck's favorite animal is NOT a giraffe. So I'm saying #3 is false. Giraffes are represented in the line, but not nearly as much as elephants. – Just a gues.

  15. My guess is #3 is false. Cute animals. If they lived in Utah while designing this line there is a great zoo in SLC.

  16. My guess is #2 is the false statement! 🙂

    Loooove the Fabrics! Sooooo Fun!
Thanks for chance to win a Bundle of them! Wooohooo! 🙂
