Q: What inspired you to pick the colors and designs in your Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle?
A:I selected 12 prints and 3 coordinating prints that I thought would look beautiful in a quilt and had a good range of colors and patterns from Blushing.

Q: What are 3 words you would choose to describe this collection?
A: 1. Apple Blossoms
2. Spring
3. Pretty

2 Truths and a Lie
1. I love florals and use them in many of my quilt patterns.
2. I never design quilt patterns with my own fabric collections.
3. There are 21 prints in Blushing.

One of the 3 statements is false. Comment on this post telling me which statement you think is false. Answer correctly and you have a chance to win Margot Languedoc’s Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle!

  1. Number 3 is false.
These are SEW outside of my normal choices, but I absolutely LOVE them! I think I'd be tempted to completely redecorate with these fabrics!

  2. This is a beautiful line and I'd love to cut into it – TODAY! And #2 is false – she DOES design quilts using her own line – she'd be crazy not to!.

  3. I think it is #2 because I have seen her patterns in her fabric! I would love to win as I love this fabric line!!

    Thanks,
    Kerry

  4. got to be #2 — how could anyone resist those fabrics– let alone the creative person who designed them!

  5. Number 3 is false, there are 12 prints and 3 solids in the Blushing collection. But, I have to add this: I LOVE what I see here! This is what I want to use in place of some of the 1930's prints that I have been using and in addition to them. Just the breath of fresh air for springtime quilting!

  6. I am a little stumped on this one! I think it is number two-though her patterns covers do usually showcase her fabrics, perhaps she doesn't actually make them with it the first time?
Thanks for introducing me to a new designer! Just checked out her blog–LOVE!!! Beautiful colors and fabrics–perfect for my home.

  7. number 2 is false. If you look at the whole line there are 21 prints. She just picked out the 15 for a fat quarter bundle. I would love to win this collection because I think it would make such a beautiful quilt. I love the colors and prints.

  8. Number 2 is false. thanks for the opportunity to discover a new blog to follow. Lovely fabrics and patterns.

  9. Number 3 is false. It said there are 15 prints in the text above, but who wouldn't want to design a quilt with these fabrics! Such delicate patterns and the colors are good enough to eat! What a wonderful selection and thanks for the chance at the giveaway!

  10. I think #2 is false… If you go to the fat quarter shop.. There are 21 Prints in Blushing (Cheerfully Blushing, Lightly Blushing and Sweetly Blushing~ Greens, blues and pinks and then out of those three collections created a fat quarter bundle of 12 prints and 3 coordinating fabrics to make 15)

  11. Number 3 is the incorrect answer, the correct answer is 12 prints and 3 coordinating prints.
Lovely fabric, makes me think of summer.

  12. I think number 3 is wrong. I LOVE this line!!! It is so beautiful, I cant wait to design something with it. Thanks for the giveaway.

  13. Number 2 is the correct answer, but this is a bit of a trick question, isn't it?

Fingers crossed, I haven't won a giveaway in ages and this would be an incredible addition to my stash!

  17. I think #2 is false … how could anyone not want to sew with those delish fabrics! I counted 21 prints on the FQS listings for Blushing. Thank you for the chance to win.

  18. # 2 is false….she designs patterns for her own fabric collections….and I'd love to make a quilt with her latest bundle from Fat Quarter Shop !!!!

  20. #2 is incorrect because she does use her own fabrics in her quilt patterns.
I love the new Blushing. I would love to make Stars for Sydney from the collection. Would be a great gift my my new grand daughter!

  21. Number 2 is definitely false. There are 21, I counted. Looking at her collection you see all the flowers she uses and I can't imagine a designer not using their own fabric in their quilts. This is a nice collection.

  22. Lol…as a huge fan of Margot's I know that #2 is the lie. Please enter me for a chance to win this generous giveaway.
    Smiles, DianeM 🙂

  23. Number 2 is false! I have already seen some patterns with this collection on the Margot's blog! I ordered a bundle of this collection yesterday at the fat quarter shop but having a second one would make me the happiest woman in the world. 🙂 I hope the give away will be mine! 🙂

  24. No 2 is false. I just keep going to look at this line of fabric as I am so much in love with it. I want to win this SOOO bad!!!

  25. Number 2 is false. I love this fabric. Thank you for the chance. And good luck to everyone! Whoever wins will have a pretty, spring and apple blossom prize!!!

  26. Number two is false. I love the fresh and exciting take she has on the dresden plate. It never occured to me before, to use two colors in a strip before cutting out a fan blade. What a novel idea! I might want to try this technique and alternate the innermost color. The Paris pattern is also a must do. The ruffle is adorable.

  27. #2 is false and I just love love love this fabric range 🙂 Its absolutely beautiful and cant wait to get my hands on all of it 🙂 hugs Vicki x

  28. 1 is true, 3 is true, and 2 is false!
Thanks for the contest and the beautiful Spring fabric. This is just what I have been waiting for to sew up something for our church school's silent auction!

  29. Number 2 is a lie-She DOES use her own fabrics in her patterns.
1-true: she uses a lot of florals
3-true: there are 21 in the entire collection.

This bundle has 15 beautiful prints from the collection and I would love to win them! Thanks for the chance 🙂

  30. #3 – not 21 prints:

Margot has specially selected 12 prints from her Blushing collection along with 3 coordinating basics for this special bundle.

    Thanks for another beautiful giveaway!

  31. I simply love your fabric lines and the way your use your fabrics in your patterns. #3 is wrong: there are not 21 fabrics in the blushing line.

  32. #2 is false! Why wouldn't she design with her own fabric. How wonderful would that be? I would love this fabric…what fun it would be to figure out what I would come up with to make use of all of it.
