Denim Week Project 1: Indigo Tote Bag & FREE Pattern!
Happy Monday! We’re pleased to present our first Denim Week project – the Indigo Tote Bag made with Art Gallery Fabrics Denim Collection!  Not only do we carry the fabric collection, we have a handy dandy Indigo Tote Bag Kit.  Sew fun!
The kit includes the Indigo Tote Bag Pattern by AGF Studios (designed exclusively for Fat Quarter Shop!) and denim fabric for the 15″ wide x 17.5″ tall tote bag. If you’d like to make this fun Indigo Tote Bag, but with a different assortment of the fabulous denims, you may do so by using our FREE TOTE BAG PATTERN and Denim Collection Yardage of your choice!  And great news: both the kit and the yardage are ON SALE!
If you’re wondering – why denim?? – you have to try it!  It’s soft, lightweight and gives a cool texture to your projects.
Yes, it’s true!  AFG denim is 20% off all month and so is the Indigo Tote Bag Kit.  Now is the perfect time to shop and try this beautiful and versatile fabric.
Tomorrow’s project is the Fresh Floral Denim Bag Kit which yields two adorable, soft denim bags that are perfect for sewing supplies, cosmetics, electronics, and more!  Here’s a list of the other Denim Week projects we’ll be sharing as the week progresses:
June 8th: Shore Bag
June 9th: Fabric Buckets
June 10th: Bed Runner – from this book!
Later this week we’ll be including a giveaway in one of our posts.  We’ll be giving away four denim bundles to four lucky winners, so follow along for more fabric fun!
We can’t wait to see what you create as a result of Denim Week, so please be sure to tag any photos you share on Instagram with #FQSDenimWeek!
Happy Denim Week, y’all!

  1. What is my favorite-the one not made yet! I really like the looks of the denium bucket bag. Right now my spools of aurifil thread are scattered everywhere and also I am in the middle of a big project which leaves lots of scraps which I am saving for small quilts. I think the bucket bags would be perfect containers for both.

  2. WOW – I've been working with denim from jeans and for jeans for a long time – nice to to see the 'new' denim and what is next. Thanks.

  3. I am going to love best the denim buckets you are making tomorrow. They are going to be adorable! Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.
