We are so excited about Craft Buds’ Craft Book Month! We love craft books, obviously, and are happy to share one of the many projects that happen over at Fat Quarter Shop. We have a very creative staff with a lot of evidence of our fun projects like Emma’s big girl quilt and Debbie’s growth chart. Today Cheryl is adding to our loot with a quilt from True Friends by Nancy Halvorsen of Art to Heart.
This quilt has so many elements that make us happy. The pastel colors are cheery, the prints are playful, and the heart blocks couldn’t be cuter. Cheryl collects all things hearts, so this quilt had her at hello. Big hearts are the cornerstone of a good friendship and this quilt is the perfect gift for a good friend.
There’s always a thrill when opening a new book – especially when it is a sewing or crafting book filled with projects that anyone can make! It only takes a moment to find a special one – or two – that speaks to my heart. And, I love being able to pick up a book simply for some inspiration or for the opportunity to see what someone else’s hands have made!
Be sure to stick around for the rest of Craft Book Month. Have a peek at all of the creative bloggers sharing their projects, and make sure to link your projects up to enter the fabulous giveaways!

I am hooked on blog hops, and this one is really great. I just don't know what I would do without my collection of craft and quilting books for reference and inspiration. Thank you for the fun and so many chances to win.
