Welcome back to our Classic & Vintage Quilt Series! Today, we’re thrilled to introduce the Amish Star Quilt, which is inspired by a true antique find. All of the Classic & Vintage quilts we have featured so far are from vintage books or the Kansas City Star newspaper. This quilt is different because it’s a recreation of an actual antique quilt we found at Quilt Festival. Join us as we explore the charm of this pattern and share a quilt block video tutorial!

Our rendition of the Amish Star Quilt Pattern offers Tabletopper, Tablerunner, Lap, and Queen sizes best tailored to intermediate-level quilters. It is made even easier with the Amish Star Quilt Kit, which includes the optional 4″ Square-in-a-Square Foundation Paper and Collection for a Cause: Unity fabrics for the 32.5″ x 32.5″ top, binding, and backing.

We chose the Collections for a Cause: Unity collection by Howard Marcus Dunn for Moda Fabrics for our Amish Star Quilt. It is a great match to preserve the vintage feel of this antique Amish Star Quilt that we found.

This is fun to recreate vintage quilts. Thank you for bringing them back for us.
It’s a beautiful block ! I’m going to make this one ♥️
That’s a beautiful star! Can you tell us what the name of the quilting/longarm pattern is? It looks so great on those fabrics. Thank you!
Hello Andrea! The pantograph is called Lovely Leaves, and we had it quilted by Joanna Marsh. It really did turn out great, thank you!
I came to search for your tv programs. Now I see it is a pay channel. Costs more than hulu. I have always admired the ethics of your company but this bothers me. I have spent thousands of dollars buying fabric from you. To be required to spend more to watch shows that were free is disappointing.
