Classic and Vintage Series: Maple Leaf

Happy Friday Quilters! We are back with another pattern in our Classic & Vintage series, the Maple Leaf Quilt Block!  It’s just sew perfect for Autumn!  In our Classic & Vintage series, we focus on traditional quilt blocks and add a modern twist!

The Maple Leaf quilt block (a free download) is a gorgeous vintage block from the Kansas City Star columns that is simple, yet altogether makes a pretty-as-a-picture quilt! Kimberly made her Maple Leaf quilt using Farmhouse II by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics.  The warm pumpkin tones lend just the right autumnal attitude!

Our complete Maple Leaf quilt pattern with four different quilt size options is available for purchase at fatquartershop.com. To make a quilt just like ours, we have the Maple Leaf Quilt Kit and Backing Set available!

If you’re ready to sew along with us, download your FREE Maple Leaf block pattern and watch Kimberly’s video tutorial for a step-by-step guide on making your block!
