Blogger’s Choice: See Vanessa Craft

Vanessa Coppola’s blog, See Vanessa Craft, takes you into her world of crafting, glitter and glue. We were thrilled to team up with Vanessa to release a Fat Quarter Shop exclusive Blogger’s Choice Bundle, which she will use to craft cheerful projects for her second baby’s nursery. Vanessa stopped by the Jolly Jabber to chat about her Blogger’s Choice Bundle, so keep reading for more information and a chance to win one for yourself!

Q: What will you be making with your Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle?
A:I’ll be crafting up something fun for my second baby’s nursery since my Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle is a perfect match to her decor! I’ve already started making fabric embroidery hoop art and I’m thinking up a fun mobile design. I might even make a few fabric flower headbands for her. There’s so much craftiness that you can do with this beautiful fabric!

Q: What project are you currently working on?
A:  I’m pregnant with our second baby and busy working on her nursery, which will have a subtle “You Are My Sunshine” theme. I’m also in the middle of planning a fun rainbow themed party, complete with a cereal bar, and a dinosaur themed birthday party for my soon to be 3 year old. When I’m not party planning or painting the nursery, I’m working on my first kid’s craft book that is due out in Spring 2014!

Hot Seat:
1. jelly roll or layer cake
2. planned or scrappy
3. prints or solids

Leave a comment on this post choosing one of each pair you think Vanessa would have selected. Answer correctly and you will have a chance to win one of her Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundles. Contest closes Tuesday, 5/7/2013.

Good Luck!

  1. I'd say layer cake, planned and prints. THanks for the giveaway! saruqa at gmail dot com

  2. Layer, planned, prints
Saw this pink/yellow bundle and said I NEED that. A new granddaughter due in Sept is to be named after me so I thought a special quilt is needed as well. Once I saw this, I knew what the color scheme would be! I've always loved pink/yellow together! And the grey gives it a soft sophistication..thanks for the inspiration! Now for a pattern…?

  3. I am going to say Jelly Roll, makes a nice rainbow
Planned because she ha a theme
Prints because there are prints in her choice of fabrics 🙂

  4. jelly roll, planned, prints

There are so many variations you can do with jelly rolls. Love the colors in the bundle. They will bring brightness to any room even if I am way past the baby phase of my life! I am still a child at heart.

  5. I think she will choose Layer Cake, planned and prints. I love this fabric and just found out I am going to become a GrandAuntie in December. This would help to make a beautiful quilt!!!!
