Bella Solids Precuts by Moda Fabrics

We finally have the thing you’ve been wanting, desiring, for months — years even!

Bella Solids goodness, if you will. Bella Solids precuts a la Moda Fabrics… Fat Quarter Bundles, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs! You asked (there was a bit of a petition going around!) and Moda delivered this week. Click the link to see them all!

It is indeed a happy, happy day.

These are perfect for backgrounds, contemporary solid quilts, rainbow-colored sashing strips. They come in solids (White, Snow, Natural, Brown, Red, and Black) and four harmonious color palettes: Warm Pastels (10 colors), 1930s (10 colors), Darks (10 colors), and Oatmeal (5 neutral colors). Each come in Fat Quarter Bundles, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, and Charm Packs. What more is there to say? Now you really can own all the Bella Solids you “need”! *wink*

This is the very very first batch, so we expect them to fly out the door! We will do everything we can to stay stocked, but recommend that you pick up what you are eye-ing now for no regrets later!

In the meantime — tell us what you think. Favorites? Ideas for these?

  1. I wish I would have known when I placed an order earlier this week; I would have ordered a charm pack of the oatmeal for a project.

  2. I don't know what I would do with the pre-cut solids. I just know I want some:) The neutral jelly roll would work great for a log cabin project. Hmmmmmm………

    Take care!

  3. I think the neutral solid jelly rolls are PERFECT for wider sashing, especially to save time when piecing your quilt top together.

Plus the color pallets would be great for a quick and easy strip quilt as a gift!

  4. i'm so excited that these are coming out!! i'm in heaven… and i've got a few projects planned for them already!

  5. I love Bella solids. Such a wonderful feel to the fabric. My eyes are bugging for the jelly roll of light earthy goodness. Not sure what I'd do with it but I have a gorgeous Heather Bailey piece that would match perfectly.

  6. I think I might be in trouble! These precuts are gorgeous. I can see using these in almost every quilting project. Love em!

  7. I love Bella solids! I have some yardage in the feather and the black and they are scrumptious! I also have a pastel FQ pack that I am trying to figure out what to use it for. Yummy stuff!

  8. i just ordered a jelly roll of the white to use when i make HST"s,and sashings, but i plan to order a jelly roll of the neutrals as well. I used up a jelly roll of black last year for a wall quilt and matching table runner. Boy do these pre-cuts come in handy!

  9. The jelly roll on the top of the pile in the picture looks mouth-watering – fruit salads, ice creams and sorbets – delicious!!
I've been collecting solids for a while for an Ocean Wave quilt – you can never have too many!

  10. I don't normally go for solids. But these pastels and creams look so pretty, I would just love to make jellyroll quilt – just creating as I went.

  11. Those Moda people are smart cookies! I love all of these! The Jelly Roll on top hit my eye first, then the pastel fat quaters, but the oatmeal jelly roll … the things you could do with that! If it were August, I'd be drooling over the dark colors 'cause by August I need to start working with Kansas Trouble fabrics.
