We can’t wait to revisit the magic of Christmas with all of you during the Vintage Christmas Quilt Along! For the 12 months of 2025, we will dust off our copies of Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas Book and sew the Vintage Christmas Sampler in her new holiday fabric collection, Home Town Holiday. If you don’t already have this staple in your quilting library, now is the perfect time to pick it up!
With a combination of traditional blocks and novelty blocks drawn by Lori, the Vintage Christmas Sampler will keep the holiday spirit alive all year long. The quilt finishes at 66.5″ x 74.5″ and the Fabric Kit and Backing Set have all the Home Town Holiday fabrics you need to complete your quilt. You can find everything you need on the Vintage Christmas Quit Along Supplies Page and below.

About Vintage Christmas
This quilt along uses all 42 of the 6” blocks in Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas Book and each block is Christmas card perfect. We recommend this quilt along for intermediate quilters and confident beginners. There will be no tutorials throughout the quilt along, but you can always count on Lori’s books to have the best instructions!
The Vintage Christmas Quilt has been recolored with the Home Town Holiday Collection by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs. Kimberly will be sewing along with the Vintage Christmas Fabric Kit, kitted up in Home Town Holiday.

Do you have the option of participating and not purchasing the fabric kit? I have a tremendous amount of Christmas fabric that I would prefer to use instead of purchasing new fabric.
As long as you have the book you can use whatever fabric you like.
Oh my, I have “The Original Christmas Fabric” from Lori for all these years! Many things have have held me back and NOT this year! 😀
I can’t wait to DO THIS sew along! Thank you for the reminder! <3
I have the original fabrics too and have some of the blocks done but then lost interest. I find I do complete things when I’m doing a sew along. Can’t wait for this one to start.
It’s going to be sew much fun for sew many quilters! I’m sorry to say I won’t be joining. After having major back surgery in October (rods & plates & screws,oh my) i can’t sew for awhile, but I’ll be watching everyone’s progress so be sure to share on KSS & Instagram so I can cheer y’all on!
Marcia B. I will be praying for fast healing for you and a Blessed Thanksgiving, Christmas and A Very Happy New Year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
