Quilt Along Schedule
The Quilted Farm Girl Sew Along runs from February 2026 to January 2027. At the beginning of each month, visit our social media to see the finished block(s) for the month. Then, come back toward the end of the month to see a reel of Kimberly sewing the block(s)! For all our stitchers out there, we have The Quilted Farm Girl Cross Stitch Pattern designed by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet. Like the quilt, this pattern depicts a hardworking girl dressed in a straw bonnet and apron who is ready to feed her chickens, pick strawberries, and tend to her garden. This cross stitch pattern is designed for 25-count Lugana and finishes at 12.375″ x 14″, and Kimberly will be stitching hers on 14-count Aida, which finishes at 11” x 12.5”. My quilt kit came yesterday and i really can’t wait to get started on it. The fabrics are beautiful and go together so well. I will have to watch which fabrics go in which spots as I discovered on the Prairie Home kit, several different colors of fabric had the same sku number. I almost put red fabric on the green pine tree. Several of the prints were called by a single name and they were different colors and prints. Plus, the print pictures on the chart were so tiny I had to use a magnifying glass to make sure I was using the right ones. Though I do understand the quilt was to be scrappy. All in all I can’t wait to start this project as it will be a Christmas gift in 2026.
