FaLaLaLaLa Vintage! We recently got into full Christmas swing when we visited our very close quilty friend, Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet, to photo her upcoming with It’s Sew Emma, Vintage Christmas! The Vintage Christmas Quilt Book features the Vintage Christmas Sampler Quilt (below) complete with 42 Christmas themed blocks and 17 quilty projects (11 quilts, 1 tablerunner, 1 mug mat, 1 placemat and 3 pillows). We will even have a Quilt Kit and Backing Set out of Lori’s Cozy Christmas line to make a Vintage Christmas Quilt just like hers!
And YES, of course all the blocks can be mixed and matched with her Farm Girl Vintage and Spelling Bee books!
Lori is the queen of blending all things quilty and vintage and walking into her house was like walking into Santa’s Scrappy Happy Workshop! Beautifully decorated and meticulously organized, Lori transformed her house into a quilty Christmas wonderland, and of course many photos were taken. Here’s a little peek into our photoshoot with Miss Bee, and all of the patterns for all the projects are in her Vintage Christmas Quilt Book!
Set the table for Christmas cheer with these adorable placemats! With built in pockets for utensils, these placemats are doubly super fresh and functional!
And of course stacks on stacks on stacks of quilts! Lori made 18 Vintage Christmas quilts for the photoshoot to show the abundance of options when you mix and match her blocks and settings. We had a blast photographing all of them to put in her book.
With the gorgeous Vintage Christmas quilts, you need matching Vintage Christmas pillows! Take any of the blocks from Lori’s Vintage Christmas quilt and make an easy mini project by turning them into a pillow. Sprinkle on some buttons for an extra dash of cuteness!
The adorable gingerbread men featured on the Christmas Memories Quilt quickly get you into the holiday spirit! This quilt is one of the 17 quilty projects in the Vintage Christmas Quilt Book. The Christmas tree pillow above features buttons from Lori’s Cute Little Buttons #1 and all projects and quilts use thread from her Bee Basics AuriFloss Thread Box.

Fabulous!!!!!! But I do have a question…… I’ve seen the fabric that we wil be able to buy, but I notice there isn’t any white sparkle yardage. I missed it the first go around and would love to get some this time. Will it be available?

Vintage Christmas will be my new obsession! Lori Holt has such a beautiful gift of quilting/crafting/sewing! She is my one of my inspirations for jumping in and quilting. Beautiful job on the photo shoot!
