Happy Friday and Happy Holidays! Christmas is practically here and we’ve got our wish lists ready! Please welcome back Stephanie Brieger as she shares her (incredibly cute) wish list with us:
“After our 100+ days of over 100 degrees and no rain this summer, now the rain just won’t stop! Since I will be going to cold and dry No Wheresville, Texas, I wish for Sunny Happy Skies on our drive up so we can arrive safely. I admit I am a bit scared of how cold it is going to be as I’ve only seen real snow about 3 times in my life. To stay warm I’ll need some Flannel PJ’s! I couldn’t decide which one of these Dr. Seuss prints I liked better, so I would like one pant leg in the red Cat in the Hat print and the other in the Thing 1 and Thing 2 print. Ok, so who’s going to make me those pants for Christmas?? ;-)”

OH my gosh!!! Thing One and Thing Two flannel!!! I love it. About 20 years ago I got a little soft toy Thing One in a kids meal and when my hubby was leaving for a few weeks to travel for his work, I put my little Thing One in his inside coat pocket. That little guy still resides in that coat pocket, coming out only when the coat goes in the washing machine and he gets a bath himself then too. SO…I think I need some Flannel PJ's made out of this adorable fabric to wear when I sew. After all, flannel PJ's have been my sewing uniform of choice since I started making quilts almost 4 years ago. I mean, we must be a comfy as possible when we decide to spend the day in the sewing room…don't you agree??? I also love the Cat in the Hat flannel and the new Sunny Happy Skies is really wonderful…so bright and cheery. Great choices Stephanie!!! Hugs…
OMG I have a Thing 1 doll too! Its my cats favorite toy and I never know where it will turn up next. Yesterday I found it under the tree! I think flannel pjs from that fabric would be great!

Thank, thank for flannel Dr Seuss !!! I just finished a quilt top for my granddaughter made from the Seuss collection. I could not figure out what to put on the back. Problem solved, I going to use the red Cat in the Hat.
