Our Threadology Quilt Along benefits the children and families of the Make-A-Wish Foundation

Our Serendipity Quilt and Cross Stitch Chart benefit Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas.

Fat Quarter Shop is happy to be partnering with Moda Fabrics to match up to $30,000 in donations for this worthy cause.

As we embark on our 8th Annual Charity Quilt we continue to be amazed by the generosity of this sewing community and inspired by the stories of the children who have been granted life-changing Wishes. How does this fundraiser work? We offer the Serendipity patterns as FREE downloads during the event for a suggested donation of $5 each to our Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas campaign. Or feel free to make a larger, one-time donation of $50. No amount is too small and every bit counts.

Serendipity Quilt Along

We have a great lineup of quilters quilting along with us! Our quilters used a mix of the quilt kit and their own fabrics to make their blocks. Click on each of the photos to see them up close and see the fabrics they’re sewing with! Here are some of their blocks:

Bonus Finishing Patterns for Serendipity

For each milestone goal we hit with our fundraiser, we will be releasing extra finishing patterns you can use with the blocks. We’ll release them for each stretch goal reached! Thanks to your generous donations, we’ve already raised over $29,000! We’re more than halfway to our goal, so today we’re releasing our first bonus pattern today!

With your help, we can reach our goal of $50,000 in donations towards Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! When you donate today, you’ll get us closer to our goal of granting eight wishes, and closer to releasing a new finishing pattern.

  1. Love the look of Teresa’s block using American Gathering! Teresa – did you make the entire row using the same block colors or did you use other colors for each block? Thinking about using the same fabric line for my quilt top as well.
