2018 FQS Summer Book Club - It's Sew Emma - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

2018 FQS Summer Book Club – It’s Sew Emma

We are now on our fifth week of our 2018 Summer Book Club! This week’s featured author is none other than It’s Sew Emma! It’s Sew Emma began as a dream for Kimberly Jolly. As the owner of a successful online business, she has seen and used hundreds of quilt patterns over the years. Some are great, and some could be better. She began creating many exclusive designs and block of the month programs for her store which generated wonderful feedback from quilters. This started the momentum for launching her pattern company. In 2011, she gathered a team of creative friends, and It’s Sew Emma became a reality!

The It’s Sew Emma Books we are featuring this week are The Cake Mix Quilt Book and the Fat Quarter Style Book! We were so excited to host the Cake Mix Quilt Along on our blog this past fall and it was 8 weeks of Cake Mix Recipe fun.

Fat Quarter Style includes 12 fat quarter quilts that can be made in four sizes: crib, lap, twin and queen. With a variety of styles and genres, there is something for everyone. This book is perfect for quilters of all skill levels!

In addition, It’s Sew Emma has loads of patterns for quilters of all levels! We even have an It’s Sew Emma Pattern Club that automatically ships you all of the new patterns by It’s Sew Emma as they are released! And, all It’s Sew Emma patterns are available as Paper Patterns and Downloadable PDF Patterns.

We also have a huge giveaway at the end of this year’s Summer Book Club! Click below to enter by filling out a quick form. Fill out all 10 forms from each week of the 2018 Summer Book Club, and you’ll be entered to win!

Happy Reading!

  1. Hello,

I love your show and would like to know if you can do a show on more blocks from start to finish and provide a schedule to follow, when you air or to find the lessons. I follow you on YouTube; however, I do not always get the videos in order .

I have enjoyed all the knowledge; your show has helped build up my confidence making the cake mix patterns and sew on the paper ; I am a beginner. As you can tell and I look for as much knowledge as possible to empress my friends because I want to lift up lives all around me , from talented people teaching informative skills to not be afraid to grow and Quilt new memories in the patterns of my life.

I need more help on binding and hand binding :(( please do another show and where can we buy the Hobbs batting catalog?

    Warm regards
    Debra
