We are now on our third week of our 2018 Summer Book Club! This week’s featured author is a historical quilt expert, teacher, quilt designer, Moda fabric designer, and of course book author, Betsy Chutchian. We got to know her during the process of writing the Classic & Heirloom Quilt Book with her, and it is fascinating to hear how quilting is woven into her own family history and how she draws on that for inspiration.
The Classic & Heirloom Quilts Book is Betsy Chutchian’s first book with It’s Sew Emma. The book combines 1800’s inspiration with current sensibilities for eight opulent quilts! You can view more of the quilts in the book, as well as hear from Betsy, in this video.
