Celebrating 10 Years of Sew Sampler
Since April 2016, we’ve shipped 120 blue boxes filled with quilting goodness to our amazing members. Your creativity and love of quilting have helped shape Sew Sampler into the wonderful community it is today, and we are sew grateful to celebrate this milestone with you!
To mark the occasion, we’re opening the Sew Sampler Vault! For the first time ever, 12 of our most requested exclusive Sew Sampler quilt patterns are coming back.
From April 2026 through March 2027, one quilt pattern from the Sew Sampler Vault will be automatically included as a printed pattern in each monthly box shipment as a special bonus for members, at no extra cost! The exact pattern each month will stay a surprise until your blue box arrives. A little quilting mystery to keep things fun!
Non-members will be able to shop the monthly Sew Sampler Vault pattern separately, as a paid PDF pattern, only.
2026 Spooled Sew Sampler Quilt Along!
With the Flowering Quilt Along wrapped up in last month’s box, we’re ready to get going with this year’s Sew Sampler Box Sew Along, Spooled, which measures 54.5″ square finished.
Join us for a whimsical year-long journey with the Spooled Quilt Along! Spinning off traditional block patterns, this quilt along is a wonderful way to sew something beautiful with wonder and joy. The Petals and Polka Dots fabric collection by Bunny Hill Designs brings together graceful reds, pinks, and creams that will keep your bobbins bobbing along. The Spooled quilt will steadily grow into an unforgettable and heartwarming keepsake!

You might want to check under the Sew Sampler the 120 Blue Boxes sent since 2016. I believe you have probably shipped a few thousand more than that – lol.

Hi Brenda- they are counting as 10 years x 12 months per year = 120 different boxes.
I thought the same thing as Brenda. I would like to know how many total boxes were sent also. Judy
I understood it to mean 120 different curated boxes, not total number of shipped boxes.

Definitely Honeyed Horizon fabric but no clue which precut or any other surprises in store. April anniversary boxes are always the best!

Definitely Honeyed Horizon for fabric…I’m going to guess Jelly Roll as precut…thinking “horizon” might also refer to a kind of stripy pattern for the main project? Tote bag (for the beach) perhaps?
I canceled my subscription a week ago and now I’ve signed back up. I was trying to exercise restraint, but I can’t resist. And the 10th anniversary! Too fun! 🤩
Oh no! I bet that put you at the higher price sooner for the box. We had this month and next (I think, but definitely this month anyway) before we had to pay the higher price. Oh well, I totally understand wanting to save some money, but also totally understand being drawn right back in! It’s addicting!
They need to step it up before they can ask for more. They have been kinda lame lately.
The price of everything has gone up, so they are limited in how much they can include in the boxes. Each box is still a great value.
My guess is a Honey Horizon for the fabric. Yay! Maybe some charm packs and cupcake Cake mix papers? Guessing this from the 5 cupcakes in the photo.
I think you must be lucky….I read that if you cancelled you would be on a wait list to get back in…..Just that threat keeps me getting the boxes….Plus it is so much fun anticipating what will be in each box.

I see a measuring tape or tiger tape across what appears to be charm squares due to the pinked edges on 2 sides.
Definitely Honey Horizon. The paper wrap makes me suspect charm packs, but the pinked edges could also be a small layer cake or jolly bar. Cupcakes might indicate cupcake papers Sure to be fun for those lucky enough to get one:)
I agree, looks like Charm packs of Honey Horizon. Really looking forward to the Patterns from the Sew Sampler Vault. Hoping to get “Mesa Valley” from the October 2017 box, I love that pattern!! Spooled Sew Along looks fun. Love the Sew Sampler Box!!

Happy 10th Anniversary! I look forward to receiving my box each month and have for years now. The fabrics always force me to use colors and/or patterns I may not have chosen on my own. Over the years it’s helped evolve the new fabrics I’m now drawn to. Thank you. PS Any chance we will do a machine appliqué sew along in the future?
Perhaps a hand sewing project of some sort? I think I see highlighter tape as well as tiger tape. That would be fun! Happy Anniversary FQS!

My favorite time of the month is when the blue box show up in my mail box. I have learned so much, improved confidence and got to try new projects I have had on my bucket list. Keep them coming!
