Let’s look back in time at our favorite Summer Memories! Susan Ache’s new Summer Memories Book is out now, and it sparks feelings of joy by drawing us back to days of picnics at the park with family and days spent on the beach with friends. Read on to learn more about this new book and the quilt and cross stitch patterns featured inside.
The quilts and cross stitch patterns highlight Susan’s favorite days spent in the sun. The six summertime-inspired quilts are colored in soft reds, pinks, and blues, but they would look stunning in more vibrant tones, too! The same is true for the ten memorable cross stitch designs we can’t get enough of!
Along with sharing her beautiful quilt and cross stitch designs in Summer Memories, Susan has selected a Summer Memories Starter Bundle and Summer Memories Aurifloss Box for quilters and stitchers who want to get started now. The red, white, and blue tones are perfectly patriotic for your summer projects!
We’re will be sewing along with Susan Ache for a quilt along of the Summer Picnic Quilt starting May 1. It’s a beautiful quilt made with a variety of classic Basket blocks and can be made in the soft blues and pinks seen in the book with the Summer Memories Starter Bundle Fat Quarter Bundle. We’ll share the full schedule in April so you can be prepared to sew along with us!

I see that the book Summer Memories is out. I wasn’t sure about sewing along because I have soooo many hall done projects but I really want to make a few of the quilts in the book. Any chance it will come back in stock? 🤞
The book is instock as of this morning if you would like to purchase a copy of it.
Will this QAL be offered as a kit or should I just purchase the book and bundle now? Thank you!
Hi Cindy!
What’s listed here is what’s being offered. So no plans for a kit at this time. I can’t say we’d never do one, but there isn’t one planned for this particular quilt along.
Hope that helps!
