So Let’s Review! How to Post Reviews on Fat Quarter Shop

You may have noticed that Fat Quarter Shop has several new features, like Wishlists, My Account Pages, Shop by Color, but today we wanted to show you the Review feature!

Now as you shop, you can read other people’s experiences with fabrics, books, patterns, notions, and clubs, and you can leave a review of your own.

In this post, we’ll show you just how to do it!

If a product has reviews already posted, it will look like this.

If you wish to leave a review, click onto the product, then click on “Add Your Review”.

Now, it will ask you to Log In or Register for an account. If you have an account already, go ahead and log in. If you don’t, you can create one in the next step. It’s fast and doesn’t require much information at all!

When you create a Fat Quarter Shop account, it will need your name, email address, and a password. That’s it! Now you can use our Wishlist feature, keep track of all your purchases and club memberships, and even access PDF patterns you’ve bought.

Now you’re ready to write your review! Leave your name, a review title, and what you wish to say about the item. Hit “Submit Review” when you are done.

Presto! That’s it! It will say “Your review has been accepted for moderation”, which is just us making sure the reviews are genuine and left by real people.

I hope you guys love this feature! If you have any questions, post them in the comments, and we’ll update this post with answers.

  1. Reviews are a great feature! Thank you for providing; I think they will be especially useful for patterns and tools.

  3. I like this review . Next maybe you can do one on creating or adding a link. Not sure what it means to add a link. Thank you. I love your tutorials.

  4. Great feature. I agree with Cathy above that it will be very useful in regards to patterns and tools/notions. I also think that it will be especially useful in regards to leaving feedback about the hand/drape of a fabric and quality of fabric.
