Hi Kimberly and everyone. I love the Autumn Mystery and am sewing along with this kit. I love all the fabrics and need to update my fall quilts. Thanks for everything you do.
I was a bit disappointed with this month’s box…..the fabric and pattern part. The color pallet of the fabric was beautiful but so specifically different in color that it will require mail order of the fabric needed to complete the quilt. I can always find a fabric in my extensive stash for background if needed, but I have nothing that will coordinate for the second fabric required. I prefer that the quilt fabric I get in my Sampler box have the fabrics necessary for completion….i cannot think of another box that requires me to mail order necessary fabrics
Imagine what the cost of the box would have to be if all the fabrics were included! You are always free to make something else with the fat quarters if you don’t want to buy more fabric.
Agree, Paula! I enjoy the price/value of Sew Sampler and the flexibility to purchase finishing kit, or use other fabric to finish!
I enjoy everything in the July box except the photo depicting the pink clips!
I loved getting Art Gallery fabric for a change up this box! I love working with it and it was a fun surprise. Eight fat quarters is a nice amount to work with so thank you very much for that! I also think the marker Frixion pens are great– ball point pens skip a lot. The other items are great, too and I look forward to using it all.
