Agreed. Wasn’t sure what to do with the stickers except stash them. And I’d rather you saved that money for other things in the box.

Not a clue – but the 4.5 x 8.5 ruler in the May box is now my most favorite ruler of all time. I have been using it non-stop since I received it. Yay!

Didn’t like lasts months box at all. Dont think I’m going to like the fabric this month either. Sure wish they would some warm color fabric.enough of the same old colors.yellow & grey fabric 2 months in a row. Really??? Last try for me 1 1/2 years and same old colors j think im going to be very disappointed.hope not but.if its what there showing im done
I think last month’s box was mi favorite. I don’t know what the “peek” is, but confused about how ppl are referencing holiday and winter; I’m not seeing that at all. Regardless, I always look forward to my box and mynovelties. Thanks for making this affordable.

The fabric collection is called vintage holiday. If you look it up you will see those fabrics from the house (i think the red dots are supposed to be holly berries or mistletoe)its really cute fabric. Hope this helps.

Since the sneak peak shows a house and tree, I’m thinking fabric and a appliqué pattern. I signed up for the sampler boxes August 2017, so this August 2018 will be my 1-yr anniversary, Love ALL my sew sampler boxes, fabric every month, rulers, notions and wonderful patterns. May box has such wonderful fabric and ruler, I too have had the May box ruler by my side during cutting, love the size, looking forward to June, it will be delivered the week of my birthday, so very excited to see my birthday gift to myself. im not sure if everyone is like me, but when I open my boxes, I am so happy, and already looking forward to the next month surprises.
Oh Oh Oh…….I SO hope that is the Vintage Holiday fabric!!!!! I love, love, love it !!!!!! I would love to see a magnetic pin bowl, some buttons by Just Another Button Company, or the new enamel pins by Thimble Blossoms. I will be tickled pink with anything because I love my SS BOX!!!!!!

I am really new to the Sew Sampler boxes. loved the fabric, ruler and other goodies in last months box. I am also confused as to what is the sneak peak ? I am not familiar with all the fabric lines as I am a new quilter. As long as the fabric is pretty and usable for quilts or runnners, I am happy. I did love the size of the jolly bar last month. Looking forward to June’s box!

My thoughts are 4th of July, so maybe Patriotic Red, White and Blue, or Fat quarters. Really doesn’t matter, because I love what I get. It is all great and fun to get a surprise each month.
I Miss the Stickers TOO !!! I put them On my cloth cabinet drawers, or different places in quilt room . Hope they start sending them again !!

I put them on a binder that I used to store all of my SS patterns. I have enough now, but would find a use for them if i got more, I love stickers.
Omg. The ruler from the May box is my new favorite ruler. I only use creative grid rulers I thought I had them all. Who knew. It is perfect. Can’t imagine quilting without it. Thank you so much ❤️🤗
May sew sampler box was my first box. I LOVED IT. The ruler is fantastic and I would love another on maybe a pineapple one in the large size. I’m a bartik girl, however just loved the fabric by B&C, nowI have to change to the more soothing colours. It was so refreshing to see something different. I loved the alphabitties. Was a bit disappointed about not getting the sticker. I really look forward to the next sampler box. Love from Australia

The May sew sampler box was my first one and I lovd everything in it! I was surprised at the number of great items included in the box. I typically like working with batiks so it was a refreshing change with the beautiful Pepper and Flax fabrics. The Creative Grid ruler is the best! I am almost done making a table topper using the Beehive pattern. Thanks for such a fun surprise. I’m so eager to receive the June box after seeing this sneak peak. The count down is on!

I would love to open the box and see a new colorful rotary cutter, some fat 1/8ths of the fabric which has been mentioned, by some ladies in the know. A house pattern could be tucked in also. Each box is awaited with heightened anticipation!

I cant agree with you more on the fabric colors. Some warm colors would be nice. I do like the rulers they have been adding but the fabric.some old color way every month
I have only had a handful of things in my boxes for the past year that I already had or couldn’t use. Which made FANTASTIC gifts for my quilting friends or giveaways at parties. I have NO problem remembering when my box is coming, so the sticker money is better spent on another nifty item in my BOX!! This has been the most fun of any quilting thing I’ve done by far! The surprise is amazing every time!! My best friend and I both have it and when we get something that is SSSSOO the other person, we just give all of to the other so they can make an even bigger quilt than with just one set. We share EVERYTHING that comes each month if someone else could use it or like it more. Sharing makes my heart HAPPY!!
Something with Lilacs would be nice and refreshing. I will be happy whatever is sent its a surprise I enjoy every month.
I’m scheduled to go on a quilt retreat in early July so plan to get caught up on my barn blocks. Bringing a cake mix recipe to get a head start on a new Christmas tree skirt. If there’s some delicious fabric and fun oattern(s) in June’s box it will likely be added to the weekend’s ‘to do’ list. Can’t wait for June’s box!

I have a question I’m i the only one that is getting tired of the same old fabric colors?? Would anyone else like to see some different color choices??? This is the main reason I’m thinking about stopping my boxes. Please tell me im not alone on this
I agree how about some BRIGHT colors. I generally like the boxes but the Alphabities in last months box were the most ridiculous worthless things I have ever even seen. I asked Fat Quarter Shop what they were good for but I never got the courtesy of a reply.
For many of us the alphabities are a very much needed notion. When you have patterns foe quilts, bags, whatever, that you need to label the pattern pieces you can just take one of your clover clips and clip it to the pattern piece. I already have two sets and gave the last one to my friend. She was so elated. Gone are the cut paper ones we used instead.
I mean clip it to the fabric stack to identify them against the patterns.

I totally agree with you. I keep hoping for more vintage fabrics. Also very disappointed that we seem to be getting fewer items with each box. I don’t feel this months box was worth the cost as I don’t use the bright fabrics.

Nice! A little less than last month, but still worth the money. I liked everything that was included. The box itself was cheaper, it didn’t have the side flaps that tuck down. If it gets dented in shipment,some small object could fall out.
I noticed that aboutthe new boxing as well. Mine came in bent and indented all over the place. Also didn’t have the side wings you tuck in to close. I have always loved the boxes. Great for projects! I hope they will bring back the former ones.

Got mine. Not a fan at all. Only thing in this box that I liked was the plastic box. Very disappointing – especially since this was my third box. Iffy on number 1 (April), loved number 2 (May) last month, not a fan on this month, my third box. Don’t have any idea what I’m going to do with this stuff. 🙁 Don’t know if I will continue this subscription. I’ll give it another month.

Anyway…. I got my box today and I really like the things inside. I do not understand the little pin fascination as I am a very new quilter but it is cute. I had just bought a clear box but a second one is great!the patterns and fabric is really cute. I hope you all enjoy your box and realize that they do try hard to give us a new selection each month. I loved this one as I love Charm squares and cake mix. And I liked the box.
Mine arrived today! I always get so excited on delivery day. Great items. My favorite boxes are the ones that have rulers, threads, notions, etc. Love the charm pack box. Will definitely get a few more of those!

I am quite disappointed with this month’s box. I don’t care for the pattern and I don’t think I will find much use for the square plastic box.
I got my third box today and I love it.
I agree with Joyce about the pin this month but maybe it can be used for something but receiving the charm packs and the little plastic box is really nice. I will use it for something later on I’m sure. It will be interesting to use the cake mix papers and I think I may even use this pattern to make the quilt. I always look forward to receiving the box and today, while outside gardening, the mailman came with mine! Thanks Kimberly for this month’s box.

Got my June box today and it’s wonderful! It’s like Christmas in June….really. I’m so glad I signed up for the boxes. Everyone single one I’ve received (4) has been awesome.
I do like the items in my box. I have been getting these since the very first box and have so many pretties to show for it! You will not see me quitting any time soon! As it has been stated before, it is like Christmas/Birthday for me every month.
Would love to see other options for fabric choices. I did find my box a bit smashed and dented though. New supplier?
I haven’t received my box yet and wished I hadn’t read everyone’s comments. Now my surprise has been spoiled😩. I am pleased as punch with all my boxes thus far, this is #6. SPOILER ALERT: Love this box! I think with this box, they tried to give us more of a project-type box. We got the two charm packs, the cupcakes, the pattern, and even the holder, if you like that sort of thing. I was happy to have more to finish the project. Usually, their patterns still require a lot of material, so this was nice that I only needed some background material (and backing, which is never included in anything). I LOVED it, but I do love anything Christmas! Using B&C for Christmas will be something new for me (well, the fabric line is new, so I guess it will be for everyone). 😉
I agree with the pins…I have a few subscription boxes and I keep getting pins. Not sure what to do with them myself, but I know they are always a hit when I donate them to my quilting guild. If anyone has any ideas of a fun way to use them, other than wearing them, please let me know. I thought of using an attachment to make them into a pendent, but I am not sure. Ideas??
The plastic case I will use to travel with thread spools when I go to retreats. Or maybe just give to my son for his rock collection. Who knows.
I really did love the pattern, fabric, and cupcakes. It did seem like less stuff than last month, but the way I figure it is, if the stuff I love is worth the $30 I pay with shipping, then it is wonderful!

Ah! That is a great idea! I just need to get a sewing bulletin board now! I currently use painters tape and just tape my blocks and stuff to the walls. Sounds like its time to invest in a bulletin board. Thanks for the inspiration!

After seeing a review of May’s box and looking at the boxes from the last year I decided that as a newish quilter (long time crafter/sewer) that I would take the plunge. I was so excited to see what I would get…but, as an avid You Tube, Facebook and Pinterest user I have enough “free” patterns to last a lifetime so to find my box heavier in patterns than in actual products was a bit disappointing 😔… I have high hopes for future boxes🙂
Spoiler Alert!! Fabric was okay, 2 charm packs, so will make a lap quilt (Snowball pattern) with a bit of additional border fabric. I have wanted to try the Cupcake Mix Recipe cards using my healthy stash of 5 inch squares to play with block 3. Most likely will not use the Cup Cake Crossing pattern, not my thing. Liked the plastic box, and given the choice, a new notion than the PIN. My box had an issue, a split in the cardboard on the inside where the top bends, contents made it here safely.

Hi all, I am a total newbie to quilting and still waiting for my first box to arrive here in the UK. Such a variety of comments here that I’m not sure what to expect but I am hoping it will give me a chance to learn and practice my quilting. I won’t give up after just one box as I was so impressed with previous boxes when I saw them that I was prepared for the postage costs to get it here. Now to be patient and wait for Mr Postman to arrive lol.
