2025 Flowering Sew Sampler Quilt Along!

This year’s Sew Sampler Box Sew Along, Flowering, is in full bloom! This sweet, flora-filled quilt measures 64.5″ x 84.5″ finished, and Block #8 is being delivered in this month’s box.

  4. Love my clips! Glad I’m getting more! Now, for the fabric… does Starlit Homecoming mean anything to anyone?? Is there a patriotic line coming out? Any ideas??

  10. Looks like there is a line called Front Porch coming out, some of the fabric has barn stars on it. Definitely has a patriotic look, that’s my guess. Hoping so, it’s very pretty!

  11. Oh! I sew hope it is Alpha Clippies! I have been wanting some forever! I use Alpha Bitties all the time.

  13. Morning Latte, by Sandy Gervais would be my guess based on the flowers in the vase and print .

  14. Blue Moon has a starlight yardage on the website. Different spelling though. Woven star paper at the larger size?

  15. They will not put a holiday (patriotic) fabric in a regular sew sampler box. I’m so excited to get the clips!!!! Thank you FQS!!!!

  20. I’ve been eyeing those clippies and would be delighted to find them in the box. The blue/grey fabric hint looks sweet, with a starry pattern, perhaps?

  23. Surprised no one has come up with what the fabric will be. Based on the top picture it’s none of what anyone has guessed so far, and I can’t find anything else to match that print. I guess everyone’s too excited for the AlphaClippies.

  25. I am excited for the alpha bitty not sure on the fabric. It will be fun to dream though of what it is.

  28. I looked at all the suggestions made here that it could be & I really hope it’s Blueprint by Camile Roskelly. And I hope it’s a Jolly Bar. The pattern that comes with that is heautiful!

  29. I’m thinking a smaller curated box of alpha clips – but the full size does fit in the blue box and would be an AMAZING Christmas Gift.

    For the fabric, I am guessing blue and white prints/backgrounds from American Gatherings III because the collection includes lot of blue, white navy and red star fabrics. (The blue and white fabrics appear similar to those in the Starlight Gatherings collection released approximately 4 years ago.)
    OR
    a jolly bar, 1/2 jelly roll, or other precut from American Gatherings III. (Based on the fact that Moda factory packaged precuts are now available, but the yardage is not due to be released before January 2026.Moda may have curated blue/white fabrics from the collection specially packaged for FQS.

    Blueprint would be awesome too.

  30. An addition to previous comment.
    The fabric with sprigs also looks the same as the blue on white/cloud background sprigs 42937-24 and there are also sprigs in many of the other fabrics in the American Gatherings III collection.
    I hope I haven’t upset anybody, and I easily could be wrong. Any of the other suggested fabrics sound awesome.

  31. Additional comment 2 – I just noticed the Starlight Homecoming picture with the rocking chair on the porch includes red in addition to blue and white(ish) background. For me (at least) that strengthens the supporting reasons I gave for American gatherings III.

  32. Rosie maybe? Fig tree and co has a milk jug with flowers pattern for that collection that’s very cute.

  33. I already have two sets of alpha clippies so they may become a Christmas gift for a friend. They’re awesome!

  34. I paid the reservation fee but nothing tells me that I am subscribed for the sew sampler box. How can I be sure that I am supscribed?

    1. Call customer service. The number is on the site. Also it should be listed under your account on site under BOMs.

  41. Alpha clips definitely!!! I’ve been waiting to try them. I use the alpha Betty’s all the time. Not sure on fabric. Hope it’s blueprint!!! Thanks FQS for all the amazing boxes. Happy Holidays!

  42. I can’t get past the idea of receiving Alpha Clippies in the box to even think about the fabric!! I have been coveting these clips since Kimberley showed them!!!

  43. I have never received anything from American Gatherings. But I’ve only been a member for less than two years. Does anyone know if they have ever given a collection from American Gatherings?

    1. I have been a member since 2018 and no I have not received anything from American Gatherings, but you never know, it’s possible that’s what it is. I think it’s Front Porch by Allison Harris, we have received her collections in the past. Whatever is included, it’s looking like it will be a fun box.
