Quilt Petite Blog Hop with Sedef Imer - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Quilt Petite Blog Hop with Sedef Imer

We’ve jumped on the blog hop train showcasing Sedef Imer’s first book, Quilt Petite!
The book features so many fun, small projects to decorate your house with! Not only mini quilts, but also mug rugs, pot holders, and more!

Along with featuring such precious little projects, the book is also a learning tool to tackle some of the tricks of the sewing trade! The guide and projects make this book perfect for beginners and experienced sewers alike.

At Fat Quarter Shop, we took to the drawing boards when we were asked to join Sedef’s fun blog hop! We decided on the “Hearts” mini quilt up, and used the Vintage Daydream collection by Designs by Dani for Riley Blake!

We love how the floral prints mixed with the warm, heart-shaped pattern! The touch of golden yellow was just what we needed to make the hearts really pop!

Have you checked out the book? What are you going to create? Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of the day on December 7, 2016, for your chance to win a copy of Quilt Petite!

  1. I have not yet looked through the book…but the blog hop is very inspiring. Who could resist the Bonjour pillow from the cover? That would probably be my first choice project:)

  2. First I would make the pillow that is on the front cover – of the little girl's skirt and shoes – then I would make the cute wall hanging you have just made and then….keep on choosing the next project :)!

  3. I'm getting back into quilting and starting with a small project is right up my alley. Given that I love hearts, I'd go for the heart project featured in this blog. 🙂
    Thanks!

  4. I love the mini 9 patch that Pretty By Hand made—those little knots around each block! Would love to try that.
    Thanks for the chance.

  5. This book is scrumptious…I would start with the heart table topper and then the placemats and then the sewing machine mat…gosh I will have to retire and start sewing more…

  6. I love the cover pillow as well, especially since I have darling granddaughters! Sooo cute! But I love the little pinwheel quilt too…and the sewing machine "caddy"…plus I would love to try foundation piecing but I haven't yet and a petite sized project seems perfect to test the waters!
