New Moda Fabrics Collections

Spring Market is long gone but we are still reminiscing about some of our favorite Moda Fabrics Collections! Here’s a quick recap on all of the NEW collections at Quilt Market just for you.

Dot.Dot. Dash – ! by Me and My Sister Designs, the brights you’ve come to love in a swatch of dots and stripes we all need. A few of these quilts are in Precut Primer

Tucker Prairie by One Canoe 2 is fresh and bright, yet defined and grounded.

Miniature Gatherings by Primitive Gatherings is a colorful deluge of miniature prints. Use them together of separate into select palettes to effect.

Prints Charming by Sandy Gervais gives these colors an elegant tone.

Bright Sun by A Quilting Life. This is the first fabric line for Sherri McConnel and Chelsi Stratton, Moda’s newest mother/daughter duo!

Simply Colorful II by V& Co is the bookend collection to Simply Colorful, with cool colors to balance out the spectrum.

Gooseberry by Lella Boutique has some sweet prints that we love!

Modern Background Paper & Ink by Zen Chic complement each other perfectly, but separately we see a lot of background options.

Eliza’s Indigo is Betsy Chutchian’s debut group for Moda, so repro-lovers, rejoice!

Windermere by Brenda Riddle was inspired by the soft, sweet colors of pastoral England.

Basic Grey takes you to the beautiful streets of France with Mon Ami

Prairie by Corey Yoder of Little Miss Shabby is bright, fun and playful! We love all things Prairie including our Prairie Summer BOM

Purebred by Erin Michael celebrates the equine lover in us all. Strap on your riding boots and get ready to tide!

  1. Beautiful fabrics! The Dot.Dot-Dash is so cute. The Prints Charming is lovely. But I can't wait to see the new Kate Spain line, Canyon! Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. I am really excited about Paper and Ink – and also Canyon (gorgeous color palete!)

  3. So many great collections to look forward to! I like the look of Mille Couleurs by 3 Sisters best I think. Moda really knows how to empty my wallet :0)

  4. It looks like I need to save my pennies for all the October releases! Dot Dot Dash is my favorite, but I love Prairie & Mon Ami…and…and…and…I can't wait!

  5. Sunflower Song by Kansas Troubles is my favorite, but I really like several of the other collections almost as well. Thanks for the chance to win.

  6. Are you going to provide no interest financing to us to buy all our new favorites? Just kidding! There are so many collections I have just looked at that I told myself that I simply MUST have. Ha Ha. I'm retired, not rich. How about I whittle it down to one favorite that I get a fat quarter collection. Then I can get a charm square of the rest. That is affordable for me. I am so greedy. There are people starving in Nepal, the south Sudan, Syria. etc. I need to think of them before I worry about all the fabrics I think I need.

  7. How to choose just one! I don't know how you can decide which ones to buy for us!
I really like Prairie by Corey Yoder of Little Miss Shabby. It "is bright, fun and playful" just like you say. Anything you make with it would cheer one up.

  8. The concrete fabrics are super! I love the texture that they have and what great colors for using in quilts and other projects. Can't wait till they are available for purchase!

  9. I am really loving Gooseberry by Lella Boutique – what a beautiful collection. Thank you for giving us a preview of all the new fabric collections.

  10. So many to get excited about! I'm expecting to use a lot of the new Zen Chic and V & Co lines – they're so versatile.

  11. I am anxiously awaiting the Paper and Ink collections to make a quilt for my niece and her soon to be hubby! What's more classic that blacks and greys!? Thanks for the round-up, it's so fun to see all the loveliness together in one post! Sarah: crjandsbj(at)netzero(dot)com

  12. I love so many, but this is the first time I have really checked out the Canyon fabrics. They look fun. I love the colors. Perfect for happy summer time.

  13. One favorite? Can't choose just one, Dot, Dot Dash is great, Edyta is always wonderful. I could use some of that Concret right now. Should I go on? I'm an addict for sure.

  14. Love everything Moda but my all-time favorite collection is 'Strawberry Fields' and my favorite Market collection is 'Gooseberry' closely followed by 'Prairie'.

  15. I love the new Kate Spain line. Her colors always appeal to me. The new Concrete line looks like a great addition to the not quite solids genre.

  16. I'm so bad at picking favorites — I love it all! I guess that's why I make lots of scrappy quilts! I am on a bit of a Zen Chic kick right now, so Paper & Ink caught my eye.

  17. I love Eliza's indigo and the miniature gatherings and also the prairie one but really it's tough to find fabric I couldn't like! That's my problem I love fabric!

  18. Gooseberry is absolutely adorable. Can't wait to make projects with that

  19. I'm anxiously awaiting Farmhouse from Fig Tree & Co.
There are so many great releases it's hard to choose just one — there are quite a few I'm looking forward to playing with!

  20. Hard to choose my favorite new line from Moda, but I just love the colors and prints in Basic Grey's Mon Ami line.

  21. Gotta love Miniature Gatherings. Really like a lot of the other selections.

  22. Gooseberry is my favorite of all the collections listed, and I am anxiously awaiting it's release!! I just love the colors; they seem refreshing and bright and airy to me. And if you are also inviting us to list favorite Moda upcoming lines outside of this list, there are 3 that I am particularly drooling over: Hazel by Cluck Cluck Sew, Fig Tree's Farmhouse, and B&C's Hello Darling. I just hope I can get my hands on enough of all 4 of these lines before they all sell out!!

  23. Love Dot.Dot.Dash-, such beautiful bright colors. Thrn Bright Sun, Prints Charming is just that, charming.so many lovely fabrics!

  24. I am awaiting canyon by kate spain and simply colorful II by V&Co – but love the new basic concrete – so many uses like grunge is…..how to choose a favorite????

  25. I love the paper and ink AND concrete. I can just imagine all the things i could do with those! But they were all wonderful and I feel that moda pull to purchase a little of everything. I sure wish I could!

  26. Simply Colorful II and Dot Dot Dash. It's a toss-up for me. I want them both! Oh to have more time to work with all the new fabrics.

  27. I really like Avalon by fig tree and of the new collections show here I like concrete best.

  28. My favorite it definitely the new Prairie by Corey Yoder! It's so beautiful! Thanks for the chance to win some! cherisetoweratyahoodotca

  29. I love the Simply Colorful 2, and Prairie, but there are a couple of other lines that look tempting too!! Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!!

  30. There are so many great fabrics, but I think I still love French General's Le Marais the best. A close second I think would be Color Daze by Laundry Basket Quilts. It would be so much fun to win as Friday, May 29 is my birthday! Wow what a surprise that would be!!

  31. I am liking all the navy blue fabrics from Cotton and Steel. Also that Concrete line from Moda would be great for use as background.

  32. I would have to pick Gooseberry for the fun colors. There are a couple of others that I love, but I have to stick with happy Gooseberry.

  33. Love, love, love 'Mille Coulers' (I think I spelled it wrong ;o) from 3 Sisters! This is such a gorgeous collection!!!

  34. Me and My Sister is always a favorite and Dot.Dot.Dash is no exception. I love it!

  35. I really liking the Mille Coulers. But they really are all so pretty!

  36. My favorite fabrics change as fast as the seasons do. Right now, I think my favorite would have to be Heartfelt by Kansas Troubles for Moda. Love the colors and small prints!

  37. How in the world can anyone choose just one of all these gorgeous new collections? That really is a tough choice. I see at least five that I want already.

I think if pressed for the top favorite, it would have to be Prints Charming. I really love the colors and the design as well in the each of the different prints. Very nice collection.

  38. Oh, my, what a difficult decision. It's pretty much a toss up between "Me and My Sister" and "Gooseberry." I love them both and several of the others, too! I guess I'd pick Gooseberry because I don't have much like that in my stash. Let me post this comment quickly before I change my mind again!

  39. I always look forward to seeing new collections from Me and My Sister Designs and Dot.Dot-Dash does not disappoint!

  40. Paper and ink is really catching my eye for some reason and I'm a Kansas Trouble girl. Simply colorful II is also catching my eye. The concrete collection looks like it will also be a must have! Thanks for sharing

  41. I like Ambleside very much and I'm looking forward to Windermere – it looks lovely. They are both named after places I like to go on holiday in the English Lake District.

  42. I loveDot, Dot Dash by Me and My Sister, miniatures and Kansas troubles summer. Too hard to pick just one, that's why my stash is so big!

  43. This is hard as I love them all. Since I can only choose one it will be PRAIRIE .

  44. Because I can pick only ONE, my choice would be Miniature Gatherings by Lisa Bongean. Having said that, they're all gorgeous!

  45. I've been wanting to sew a table runner with low-volume fabrics and I think Butter Churn Basics would do the trick! It's beautiful!

  46. Mon Ami has captured my imagination, but I'm sure I'll have to have some Paper and Ink prints too. Lots of wonderful collections coming up!

  47. Simply Colorful II is my very favorite. I'm also crushing on Tucker Prairie, Prints Charming, and Paper. Must.start.saving.my.pennies.

  48. I love all things Me & My Sister do, so my favorite is Dot, Dot, Dash. Also loving the Windermere and Gooseberry lines.

    Thanks for sharing!
    Sandy A

  49. Kate Spain's Canyon is my favorite from these collections. In addition, I LOVE the Concrete collection. So versatile!

  50. All of this fabric is gorgeous! My favorite is Tucker Prairie. I love the bright, fresh greens and purples. Thanks for sharing this!

  51. Tucker Prairie by One Canoe 2 is the range I am looking forward to most , I think but several others run a close second. lynnmcindoe at gmail dot com

  52. I like them all, BUT my tow favorites are Miniature Gatherings and Eliza's Indigo. I just really like the old world feel of these fabrics.

  53. Gooseberry is by far my favourite!! I missed out on into the woods before I discovered Lella's fabric. I can't wait to get my hands on some! Now I just wish I knew what to make with it!!!

  54. I love the Mille Couleurs selection — it would go with other Moda I've been collecting for a Log Cabin Quilt, specifically the dusty aqua, red and camel.
