A Jolly Contest

A special friend of ours sent us a cute little sign that now hangs above Emma’s playroom, right next to Kevin’s door.

Besides just showing you the picture, we decided to make it fun.

Post a comment with your guess of who our special friend is on our comment page by Friday, 1/19. We will randomly select 2 winners to receive a prize. We won’t say what the prize is, but it is connected to the answer…

And the contest starts now!

  1. It definitely looks like an Anne Sutton sign since it’s pink! But then again, I’m NEVER right! LOL

What a cutie pie Miss Emma is! Peek-a-boo back atcha, Emma!

  2. I think that maybe Anne Sutton gave you the “Jolly” sign since she designed a lovely line of fabric for your sweet Emma πŸ™‚

  3. I can’t believe everyone is guessing me. Just so happens that I also like the color white. And Red too. Jeeeezzz Louise.

I guess Debbie because she knows Kimberly oh so well, and knows how much Kimberly likes pink too. It would be just like Debbie to give her a Jolly sign!

  4. How pretty! Emma looks like she loves her new playspace. Such a happy baby. πŸ™‚

I am going to guess that jolly old Santa may have sent this “Jolly” sign to Head Elf Emma.

  5. Well now I came here to enter and my first thought was Anne Sutton because that sign is so soft and pretty …. just like Bunnyhill stuff. I see a lot of others have the same guess. I’m sticking with Anne for my guess.

  6. Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs? She seems like a kind and giving person as well as super-talented and creative. I love the soft colors she uses. If it wasn’t her…..I’ll eat my “Purple Thang”.

  7. Anne Anne Anne Anne Anne Anne Anne – too easy lol! Even though today she is saying she really doesn’t have much pink in her home πŸ™‚ It’s beautiful though, just like your daughter πŸ™‚

  8. I feel like I’m in one of those long and winding lines for American Idol auditions… but the line I’m in says “Anna Sutton line forms here”.

  9. Is Anne trying to get us off the track with her comment? I’m going to say Anne also, because if it’s PINK it says ANNE! And if you look at her blog, you’ll see she tries to pretend that she’s joined the Pink Lovers Anonymous program and that she actually likes other colors. But she just can’t help it … her addiction to pink is too strong!

  10. Hi Kim, I do believe we know each other – I am Teresa from SC. I followed a link to your blog from another blog and just had to check it out to see if it was you. Looks like you now have a beautiful baby girl, congratulations! I was just thinking of you all and the fun we had at the Red Barn Retreat years ago when I pulled out some pretty polka dot fat quarters I bought off your site and wished I had more.

  11. I think the wonderful provider of the delicious recipes, Debbie Taylor, gifted Emma’s play area with the precious sign. Looking forward to watching beautiful Emma grow.

  12. Anyone who saw that baby would want to do something sweet like that for her!!!!

Before I read the other blogs, my gut said Anne Sutton.

that’s my story and I’m sticking to it =)

  13. Emma is a little doll. I am the grandmother of a 3 week old granddaughter, Abby, that is a little doll also. I think Anne Sutton gave her the sign.

  14. Gosh, this is a tough one! I can see that Anne Sutton is pegged as the sweet friend who gifted the sign, but my first thought was Holly Holderman because of her name – before peeking at all of these previous comment posts.

So I guess I’ll cave to the majority and guess Anne. (BTW Anne – I’m making a pink birdie pin cushion. The one on the back of the pattern was just TOO cute!!)

  15. I agree with most everyone else – it certainly does look like Anne Sutton is your special friend, and I know that she most certainly does fit that title!
Emma just gets cuter and cuter!

  16. I think itΒ΄s from Jolly Jumper, Lucky Lukes horse. He had two as a christmasgift, one blue and one pink, and he preferred the blue one himself.
