Barn Sweet Barn is back in 2023 with a new star! Stitch the Lone Star design in different colors each month for a total of 12 stars, one for each month of the year. This year-long stitch along is perfect for a beginner cross stitcher.
Please join Kimberly in 2023 as she starts stitching along for the Barn Sweet Barn Stitch Along. It’s a cross stitch project that everyone can join, and the chart also includes 2 bonus colorways! The stitch count of Barn Sweet Barn 2023 is 71w x 71h, and each month will use 2 thread colors plus DMC White!

The White 25 Count Lugana 36″ x 55″ Cross Stitch Cloth is what we recommend because you will be able to get 12 months from this fabric cut. If you choose Cloud 25 Count Lugana 19″ x 27″, you will need six packages to have enough for all 12 designs. You’ll want to make sure to leave a 2 to 3-inch border around your stitches when you cut your cross stitch cloth for Barn Sweet Barn 2023.

Finishing
One aspect of this stitch along that we’re most excited about is the DIY cross stitch finishing! We have a video tutorial below with all the details on the hoop finish.
