It’s 2024 and we’re back in the barn with a new star! Stitch the Barn Sweet Barn 2024 design in different colors each month for a total of 12 stars, one for each month of the year. This year-long stitch along is perfect for a beginner cross stitcher.

Join Kimberly in 2024 as she stitches for the Barn Sweet Barn Stitch Along. Everyone can join, you just need the pattern! The stitch count of Barn Sweet Barn 2024 is 47w x 47h, and each month will use three DMC thread colors.

Supplies

The White 25 Count Lugana 36″ x 55″ is what we recommend because you will be able to get 12 months from this fabric cut. If you choose Cloud 25 Count Lugana 19″ x 27″, you will need two packages to have enough for all 12 designs. You’ll want to make sure to leave a 2 to 3-inch border around your stitches when you cut your cross stitch cloth for Barn Sweet Barn 2024.

  1. Hello, I finished my first star last week. The colors a re so pretty. I will finish each in a little round frame so I can display one every month.

    I will start my second one this week. The green colors called for are my favorite in this color.

  2. This is my favorite Barn Star so far. I’m making the full size piece with all on one piece of fabric. I’m glad there was a layout for it given this year. Thanks for another gorgeous pattern.
