Minick and Simpson’s newest line, Jingles Flannels, recently arrived at the Fat Quarter Shop. It is so soft and warm, it makes one wish for cold weather to wrap up in a flannel quilt by the fireplace. Polly Minick and Laurie Simpson must have felt the same way, because they have also come out with a free quilt pattern.
Thanks to all the folks at the Fat Quarter Shop for asking us to blog a bit about “Jingles.” We are excited about this new Christmas line that is in warm and fuzzy flannel. It is very traditional with the classic red, white, green and gold colors of the season.
It was a lot of fun to work on. These classic colors and motifs are early 20th century and sure do remind Polly and I of Christmases that we remember as kids. We can almost hear the jingle bells, smell the pine trees and hot chocolate. We will be making up warm and cuddly quilts for our loved ones and also some pajamas, night shirts and pillow cases! It’s a very cozy line and we hope you enjoy it.
Happy Holidays everyone!
