Highlights from Fall Quilt Market 2025

The International Quilt Market was a weekend of friends, fabric, and fun, and today we’re wrapping up all the quilty goodness with Dusty, the Stardust charity bear as our guide! I hope you had fun following along in our stories and posts, whether this was your first time experiencing Quilt Market or you’ve been tagging along for years. Keep reading to see some of the beautiful fabrics, quilts, and notions!

Time for Sample Spree!

We were lucky to attend Sample Spree again, and what an experience it was! Moda Fabrics was the main highlight at Sample Spree, with shop owners making a beeline for their fat quarter bundles. Sample Spree is a chance for quilt shop owners to pick up fabrics debuting at Quilt Market. That way, they can make sample projects and quilts for their stores. Quantities are very limited and sometimes discounted, and this is the only chance people can get their hands on some of the new collections before they are available, so it’s very exciting for everyone!

Quilt Market Booths

The International Quilt Market displays for upcoming spring and summer fabric releases were fun to peruse. If you would like to reserve a collection or sign up to be notified for any of these, click on the links below to find them at Fat Quarter Shop.

We kicked off the day exploring the Moda Fabrics tent and found ourselves on the softer side of the spring and summer color wheel with the Pastel Prairie Collection by My Sew Quilty Life and the A Cat Named Stitch Collection by Camille Roskelley.

Then, we got to fall in love with upcoming collections from two of our favorite designers: Summer’s End by Fig Tree & Co. and Poinsettia & Pear by Sherri & Chelsi.

Christmas is coming early, and we can’t decide which collection to sew with first! Here are the collection details: When Snow Falls by Deb Strain, Chilly by Sweetwater, Holiday Cheer by Stacy Iest Hsu, Joyful Gatherings by Primitive Gatherings, Gingerbread Lane by Kiley’s Quilt Room.

We also got a chance to see a couple of firsts! The Purrs & Boos Collection is Elena Amo’s first Halloween collection, and it’s ghoulishly good. Then, we saw the Flannel Season Collection by Kansas Troubles Quilters, which is their first fully flannel collection!

Elizabeth Hartman debuted the Show and Tell Quilt Pattern alongside some of her other fan-favorite patterns, as well as her collection of solids with Moda Fabrics, called Elizabeth’s Favorites.

Liberty Fabric always impresses with its cohesive florals and knack for nostalgia. Plus, getting a sneak peek at their next line of notions was a treat!

The Riley Blake tent had fall-oween on full display, and it definitely got us in the mood for cold-weather sewing! Go vintage with Scary Scraps by J. Wecker Frisch and Bountiful by Sandy Gervais, or have fun with a modern look from the Apothecary Collection by Amber Elliot.

Machine embroidery with designs from Lori Holt of Bee In My Bonnet was the star of the show! We had sew much fun seeing these in person, and you can shop the entire selection of machine embroidery notions at Fat Quarter Shop now.

Christmas was as cute as can be over at the Riley Blake tent! Claus & Co. by Melissa Mortenson, and Nutcracker Traditions by Jennifer Long added a pop of pink to the traditional greens and reds.

Clad in projects made with the Serendipity 2 Collection, Minki Kim’s booth was filled with the whimsical projects, practical pouches, and loveable illustrations we’ve come to expect from her!

Spring 2026 from Riley Blake Designs is looking to be nothing short of spectacular and sweet! Starting at the top right, here are the collection details: Foxglove by Jill Finley, Dear Sweethearts by American Jane, Awakening by Cherry Guidry, Patchwork by Liza Taylor, and Ambleside by Amanda Niederhauser.

There was something new to see around every corner, from the minimalism of the Mira Collection by Zen Chic to the maximalism on display in the Anna Maria Textiles booth!

Tilda Fabrics showcased their upcoming Something Blue and Songbird collections. The dreamy hues and the whimsical florals are always a treat!

The star of the show in the Ruby Star Society booth is their new Fireglow Collection featuring fearsome dragons and bold colors.

We also got to explore the booths of two other manufacturers we love! Art Gallery Fabrics showcased their modern designs, and Lewis & Irene had a color palette for every spring project.

The ByAnnie booth was oh-sew inspiring! Their notions never fail to spark our imagination, and we even got a sneak peek at some new products coming soon.

Celebrating 50 Years of Moda

We had a wonderful time celebrating 50 years of Moda Fabrics at Fall Quilt Market, surrounded by laughter, inspiration, and so many familiar faces from the quilting world. We’re beyond grateful to be part of the Moda family and to share in this incredible milestone with the people who make quilting such a warm and creative community. Here’s to the next 50 years of friendship, creativity, and beautiful fabric!

Thanks for coming along on this year’s Quilt Market adventure! To see more Quilt Market goodies, you can visit the highlight on our Instagram account!

Happy Quilting!

  1. Love the preview of upcoming collections. Market is always fun to look at from my customer prospective. I plan my purchases, make notes about the various collections I especially like, and so I can budget (as much as humanly possible and my threshold is low lol) for fabrics I love. The genuine friendships and interaction with Moda are a testament to who all of you are and how you blend in a wonderful part of the quilters’ world.

  2. Thanks for the preview! I was lucky enough to see the Kansas Troubles sample quilt at Lynne’s retreat last month, and it’s BEAUTIFUL! That picture doesn’t do it or the fabric line justice. I can’t WAIT until this one comes out!

  3. Moda is one of my favorite lines!! I love all of the Christmas stuff coming out. Thank you for a sweet treat at the end of a crazy day. Have fun for me! 🙂

  4. Thanks for sharing the photos! It looks like the show was amazing. Sew many goodies! I especially love the Flannel Season line. Amazing!

  5. Thank you for sharing pictures so that we can see what we have to look forward to in 2026. What a dynamic quilt show!

  6. I will probably use my stash. Someday I hope my daughter will try quilting, so I have her help me in selecting my fabrics. She is good at coloring coordinating. I have so much to choose from, I will never get them used in my lifetime.
