Hi everyone, it’s Kimberly here! I’m back to share about my newest magazine feature, Gemma, in the October/November issue of The Quilter!
No surprise, I used fabrics I adore by Robyn Pandolph to re-create this reproduction quilt. The fabrics are from her Notting Hill collection, and they had these fabulous teals and dusty reds.
I re-created a lone star quilt, but with a pinwheel star center. Plus, no diagonal piecing here – I turned to basic half-square triangles and flying geese to mimic the look.
I hope you enjoy Gemma, and let me know what you think!

I think it's beautiful. The red's and blue's go so well in the quilt pattern, the stars make it. Nice.

Very pretty!
What a beautiful quilt. The colors are so fresh and pretty, and the design gives it an elegance that makes it very "grown up".
Really nice pattern Kimberly and love Robins fabrics…..so soft and warm colors. Looks like a fun pattern to make.
Oh, yeah–My kind of red/blue and star perfection! Add this to the "wanna do list."
I'm on my way to the Fat Quarter Shop to order the kit – it's just beautiful and looks like it will be fun to piece.
What a beautiful quilt and those fabrics are just gorgeous! Great job!
Love your colors, sounds like I could do this star! Thanks
