Yay! We are so excited to debut our first original Fat Quarter Shop pattern, What Do You See? designed by our own Debbie Taylor!
Brown Bear, Brown Bear fabric, inspired by Eric Carle’s timeless children’s book for Andover Fabrics, decorates this whimsical little panel quilt that finishes at 44 3/4″ x 55″. Perfectly sized for little ones learning to read, and tons of little critters for them to enjoy.
Simple enough for beginners, everyone can enjoy making this illustrated gem. The pattern is available for free at our Free Quilt Patterns Page and the kit and backing is available for purchase exclusively at Fat Quarter Shop!
Let us know what you think! TGIF!

That’s a great way to use this fabric! My 4-year-old knows the book by heart and loves to read it to us — she would love this quilt!
What a great idea!! I know my girls love that book and it would be a fun quilt to have and make.
I think this might be my first try at a quilt! We love that book in our household and it is a great gender neutral fun theme–perfect! Thanks for the pattern!
I seriously want that kit!!! I read it constantly to my kids that I knew it by heart! I love Eric Carle and missed out on the very hungry caterpillar fabric, but I WANT this fabric bad!!
Congrats on the first official Fat Quarter Shop pattern. Love the layout and will definitely be printing the pattern. Great for any fabrics that you can fussy-cut for square centers! Another project to add to the list.
I’m so excited that Brown Bear, Brown Bear fabric is in stock and there’s a wonderful (and affordable) pattern/kit on your website! I love it!
