Tada, we are back at FQS headquarters and ready to report back on our Favorite Collections and Kimberly’s Favorite Finds!
First up, what fabric collections caught the discerning eye of our FQS Market-goers?
Kimberly could not resist the sweetness of Hazel & Plum by Fig Tree Quilts!
Codi went head over heels for Reef by Elizabeth Hartman.
Whitney loved the bright and deep hues and swooping florals of Bloomsbury by Franny & Jane.
Jocelyn basked in the contrast of sweet, light colors against a soothing black in Farmer’s Daughter by Lella Boutique.
Nova felt a strong affinity with the soothing tones of Ahoy Me Hearties by Janet Clare.
And Kevin was drawn to the uplifting calm of InBlue by Katarina Roccella!
And now, it’s time to see what goodies made Kimberly’s Top 10 list for Favorite Finds at Spring International Quilt Market 2017! Some of them may surprise you, so let us know your thoughts!
Kimberly was smitten with this awesome camera pattern, Focus Freeway, from Sassafras Lane. It’ll be at FQS very soon, so check back often!
Shannon Cuddle fabric is Kimberly’s new favorite texture for soft pillows, quilts… maybe even a pair of slippers!
Moda’s Cake Mixes have a new little sister in the house – introducing Cupcake Mixes for 5″ Charm Packs! As much as we love the original Layer Cake Cake Mixes – JUST THINK OF ALL THE POSSIBILITIES!
Annie Brady’s debut collection for Moda, Big Sky, is a nature-inspired group in punchy colors. Just try to resist that cloud pillow, I dare you!
These new Moda Matchbox Quilt Boxes may be small, but they’re packed with wonderful things! They hold a printed panel so you can either piece or cheatercloth a quilt block, as well as a spool of Aurifloss to try your hand at some hand quilting.
She continues to be a huge fan of the Simple Folded Corners Ruler by Doug Leko! See an instructional how-to on our YouTube channel.
Quilt Dots are so clever, and we have a fabulous Lori-Holt flavored assortment arriving soon. Whether it’s a needle minder, a piece of jewelry, or a magnet for holding notes, all depends on how you happen to be using it that day!
No surprise here – the Spelling Bee book by Lori Holt is going to be one of our favorites forever!
We’d like to sojourn to Amy Sinibaldi’s sweet Little Town, it looks like a charming place to spend the Winter!
Last but not least is The Good Life by Bonnie & Camille, which is so appropriate for a Market weekend. When you’re in the magical quilty land of Quilt Market, how can it be anything but “the good life”?
Thanks for joining us on our Quilt Market travels. Now it’s back to working out all the wonderful things we have planned for the things we saw, at least until the next one, so check back to see all the good things we have in store!
