FQS Fun with Pre-Cuts and Notions

You probably know (or don’t know) that we LOVE our pre-cut fabrics and our notions. That’s why when Barb and Mary from Me and My Sister Designs came for a visit, we wanted to express our love (sometimes obsession) of beloved pre-cuts and notions in two videos.

For those of you who are new to pre-cuts or feel like you want to know more about them, we’ve created a pre-cut dictionary and we are presenting it to you in the style of Jimmy Fallon!

Our second video is our first ever of the Notion Talk series! Kimberly, Barb, and Mary dish on their favorite quilting notions, showing you the good, the bad and the ugly. What are your favorite notions that we might missed in our video? Let us know in the comments!

We have a special surprise for you! Want a chance to win some of Barb and Mary’s favorite notions, then head on over to their blog to enter their giveaway!

  1. Dear Kimberly, Barb and Mary

Thank you so much for pre-cut talk.
In all seriousness Loved both videos. Going to try the less expensive spray starch, point turner and alphabitties (tired of using posit notes).
    Let's do it agin soon!

  2. Great videos. I am always happy to hear that someone has tried a notion that I have wondered about and let me know if it is good or bad.

  3. HA HA! Oh my gosh, I LOVED these videos. So informative and funny, my two favorite things. I'm totally in love with my Alphabitties and I really think I'm going to have to try a cheaper brand of starch, I've seen this one used a lot. My only disappointment with the favorite tools/notions video was that Kimberly didn't share WHERE she get's her cute little buckets. Perhaps it's because she's trying to keep them all to herself. Come on Kimberly, please share the love.

  4. I really liked the Notion Talk video and look forward to more of them. When I was in the Army, I used to use Faultless, but now I'm making my own start for quilting out of 1 part potato vodka and 9 parts water.
