Because.
One of our quilts.
Is on the cover.
Yesssss!!!!! I’m so excited!!!!! I am a lover of blues, and so is Cheryl Cohorn, who made this quilt. Naturally we think this quilt is a hit. I guess the folks at Fons & Porter agree!
The fabric used is Nature’s Basket by Blackbird Designs, and Diane Selman quilted this for us with a lovely swooping leaf motif. Fons & Porter has Blueberry Swirl quilt kits available, if you want to make one for yourself!
Oh – but it doesn’t end there! Sitting pretty on page 92 was Kimberly’s darling Josephine quilt! Yep, more blue, but with a healthy dose of light gray! These floating stars and sweet little nine-patches are simply perfection. The fabric is Maison Bleue by Robyn Pandolph, and the quilt was made by Tricia Poolson and quilted by Karolyn Jensen. We have kits available for the Josephine Quilt!
What are your thoughts? How would you style these quilt to make it you?

I"m thinking the new Downton Abbey fabrics for the Josephine Quilt.
I can't wait for my Easy Quilts subscription to begin with this issue. These quilts are just lovely! Kimberly, I can't keep up with all the great patterns and color ideas you and your staff come up with. Love these blue quilts.
Oh and congratulations on another cover quilt!
I am thinking that the French General red, grey and cream might be stunning for Josephine. Kimberly, it is stunning.
Gorgeous!! blue is my favorite color. I love the Josephine quilt.
Gorgeous!! blue is my favorite color. I love the Josephine quilt.
I love them both and they're both my colors so I wouldn't change a thing.
Beautiful Quilts! Congrats!
I wonder when my subscription will arrive. The world can never have enough blue and white quilts. I am thinking the 2 block quilt on the cover would also be lovely in soft yellows and cream for spring.
Both stunning quilts. I would like to see Josephine in red, pinks and grey.
Congratulations! Your quilts keep getting better and better. Both of these are beautiful — I especially love the subtle colors in the Josephine quilt 🙂
Beautiful quilts. I have always loved blue. Is the pattern for the blueberry swirls kit available or only with the kit? I'd love to have the pattern.
Hi Stacy! The Blueberry Swirl pattern is available in Easy Quilts Magazine!
