The Fat Quarter Shop is excited to welcome Nancy Halvorsen to the Jolly Jabber. Nancy Halvorsen’s latest fabric collection is Jingle All the Way from Benartex Fabrics. She also has a brand new quilt book called Jingle All the Way and it does make you want jingle all the way!
Q: What was the first seed that grew into the Jingle All the Way collection?
A: Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I don’t need much urging to do a Christmas fabric line. I wanted to focus on the fun of Christmas and the joy of sharing with family and friends. I named the line “Jingle All the Way” because it’s the sound of “Oh what fun!”.
Q: What are 3 Words you would choose to describe this collection?
A:
1. Fresh!
2. Fun!
3. Whimsical!
Q: What single print/SKU in the collection is your favorite (can only pick one!)?
A: That’s not a fair question…it’s like asking me to choose which of my children is my favorite, when all of them add their own special character to what makes my family!
Q: What is your dream project using this collection?
To make a snuggly quilt for anyone who needs some warmth and comfort. There is nothing more comforting than wrapping up in a homemade quilt!
Nancy Halvorsen’s Silly Secrets:
1. What is your guilty pleasure food?
That’s easy! Chocolate, or anything with chocolate in it. Chocolate makes me happy!
2. Work and life essentials aside, what is the activity you spend the most time doing?
It’s hard to decide between “reading” and “hugging and playing with my grandchildren”!
3. Your biggest pet peeve?
I love to watch movies while I sew, but I can’t watch any new movies because then I watch and don’t sew!
4. What color are you thinking about today?
Aqua! Because I just finished painting the wall aqua for my photo shoot and then my booth walls for Quilt Market the same color. It really makes the creams, reds and greens of my line “pop”!
5. What is the most important part of a sandwich?
The dressing…you can have bland fixings for a sandwich, but still make it taste great with a spicy mustard!

Love your designs! Watch for what's new for every Christmas.
Her designs are so fun. I was able to get the I Believe book at an after Christmas sale, so I will be making some for this year.

I love Nancy's books and have quite a collection. Last Christmas I made a few card holders~ so fun! I really like the big ornaments in this book~ guess a little shopping is in order. 😉

Nancy is an amazing designer and this newest fabric line of hers and book too, is just gorgeous. My favorite in this fabric line is Jingle All The Way Ruby Jingle Dots. I just love the swirls and shades in that fabric. It would be perfect when matched with so many other fabrics.
I love all red, green and cream fabrics. My house is ready for Christmas any time of the year!(color wise) The combination with the aqua is beautiful and I think I'll add some to my color pallet.
