Precut Friendly Tree Skirt Pattern

Dress your tree up right this Christmas! The newest tree skirt pattern, the Charm Pack Tree Skirt, is sure to make a statement around your tree this holiday season! This quilted tree skirt made with precuts is a fun and satisfying project using just two packs of 5″ squares and some coordinating fabric. With all straight seams, it’s easy to sew and takes less fabric than a round tree skirt.
The holiday collection we chose for our tree skirt has a cool retro vibe to it. It’s called Sweet Christmas by Urban Chiks for Moda Fabrics. The collection is featured in the Charm Pack Tree Skirt Quilt Kit to make the complete 53″ x 53″ tree skirt.
You can get the full Charm Pack Tree Skirt Pattern as a PDF download through our shop or through purchasing the Charm Pack Tree Skirt Quilt Kit.

Charm Pack Tree Skirt Quilt Along

Our quilty blogger friends made the Charm Pack Tree Skirt and provided us with some sewing tips they learned along the way.

Julie said “Make sure to watch a tutorial on binding the center, inside corners of the tree skirt. It requires a different technique than standard 90-degree corners, but it’s very do-able!” Kristen noted her technique of pairing up the red and green charm squares before sewing them together for even color distribution. Good tip!

  1. This is a very cute Tree Skirt. Blogvolin’ states there is a free pattern but I cannot find a link for it. The link I find is for a paid pattern.

    1. I’m not sure why Bloglovin’ says that. This is a paid pattern that costs $5.98.

  2. Are there any tips of techniques for getting the binding right on the square in the middle? Thinking about it and trying to consider how to get it as neat as possible…. thanks
