BOM Mini-series Part 4: Bespoke Blooms

Hey all! Hope you had a good weekend. We’re onto Part 4 (whew…) of our Fat Quarter Shop BOM Mini-series. Today’s BOM is a bit of a doozy…meaning, it’s gorgeous and will knock your socks clean off.

Robyn Pandolph’s upcoming program, Bespoke Blooms BOM, is stunning. She has created two versions of this quilt, and we will be doing the yellow version with 12 appliqué blocks and a pieced border. (The other version has an appliqué border, if you were wondering.) The Bespoke Blooms quilt finishes at 74″ x 98 1/2″ and uses her newest line, Somerset Cottage.

If you are like Kimberly, an avid fan of Robyn’s swirling florals and damasks and dainty pastels, this could be your 2010 masterpiece.

Each month (from October 2009 to September 2010) we will send you ample fabric (over 18 yards total), Robyn’s instructions, and a monthly color guide for one appliqué block, and in Month 12 you will also receive the finishing kit for Bespoke Blooms. We also have a separate Backing Set available.

We are very, very excited to offer Bespoke Blooms Block of the Month, and even more eager to start! Go to our Bespoke Blooms BOM page for more details!

  1. What an amazing giveaway! I am always blown away by Robyn Pandolph's fabrics–she actually started my love of fabrics with her Folk Art Christmas lines when she was designing for Moda. I didn't know how to sew but I bought her fabric because it was just awesome.

  2. What a lovely fabric line! I can picture a SpringTime quilt – just perfect for our screeened-in porch. Thanks so much for the chance to win the charm packs! I have a real weakness for charm packs 🙂

  3. Oh, the fabrics are sooo lovely! I would make a beautiful lap quilt which would be perfect for relaxing on the front porch swing at our N. Carolina mountain cabin.

  4. This is a beautiful quilt. I hope she does another BOM next year when this one's done! Or, perhaps Ill just have to get the set of it at one time it if possible. this would go so well in my daughters room!

  5. I have been drooling over this quilt and the fabric selection since I first saw it on you website. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much for a chance to have some of my very own to 'fondle'. (I try to not 'drool' on real fabrics, it tends to cause some problems with spotting **wink**) Good Luck to everyone in the great giveaway!!!

  6. Robyn Pandolph's early fabrics actually caused my non-sewing daughter to make a quilt because she loved the fabrics so much. The colors this time are the colors that I find so easy to live with in the bedroom-I will be giving this some thought. Very tempting.

  7. oh wow what a great giveaway! I would love to win this, as I love love these fabrics! Also, any chances you would ever teach an online quilt course, as I would love to learn alot of the wonderful things you ladies create. I am a very beginner quilter but love it. Thanks for having such a great giveaway!

  9. This is such a peaceful looking quilt. I'm not a big fan of pastel colors, but I love this. It would make a wonderful spring/summer quilt for my bed.

  12. I love everything she does – this fabric is so beautiful! I did sign up for a BOM, but it's the Civil War one. My son is a CW buff and I think he'll really like it. Of course, another BOM is about the last think I need, but since it doesn't start until January, I can get everything else caught up! Right….sure I can! You put wonderful projects together.
