Q: What will you be making with your Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle?
A: I plan on working up my Split Pea Soup pattern in this bunch with maybe some more scraps from my collection. The original pattern was published in a Fons and Porter Easy Quilts a few years back, and now I am aiming to self-publish and sell the pattern (wholesale and retail). I am loving the orange/blue/grey combo of this bundle I pulled together for Fat Quarter Shop. My daughter is horrified! (She really can’t stand blue and orange together.)

Q: What quilt project are you currently working on?
A: One project? ha ha! Well, I am working on my book with Alicia’s Attic (Marci Baker Publishing), but I can’t show you anything from that yet…well maybe the tiniest sneak-peek.
At the moment, I am also working with David Butler and his new line Curious Nature from Free Spirit on some projects that have not been solidified yet.
I have been doing these little 3″ log cabins in a swap with 6-8 other quilters for the last few months. Don’t have time for it, but it is just fun, you know?
I am just finishing up getting some quilts done for Bumble Bean Basics with Victoria Wolfe and Pat Sloan in New York City.
And there’s always the other 679 projects I have written on scraps of paper and in my head….oh, and I am in the Celebrate Christmas Quilt-Along over at Quilting Gallery too!

It's gotta be layer cake, scrappy and prints. Blue and orange are my hottest colors right now. I've been in an orange mood since summer. Sometimes with pure blues and other times with teals and aquas. Love em!
