Q: What will you be making with your Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle?
A: My bundle is so cheerful and bright, it reminds me of a summer cocktail and a party at the pool or lake! I think it’s perfect for a light summer quilt, maybe to bring on picnics or trips to the beach.
The happy feeling I get from the fabrics also make me think of a fabulous party girl I know, so it may make a quilt for her. Something as outgoing and fun as she is.
Adding white would make the colors really pop, a light grey like Moda’s Zen would add some calm, or a light yellow for some mellow.
Q: What quilt project are you currently working on?
A: I hate to say it but I can’t show what I’m working on right now, which is why my blog is sparse. It really is so hard not to show and share everything with people. Trust me when I say that bloggers and designers hate NOT showing more than you hate being teased!
My last project I can show is a fun baby quilt made using a Modern Workshop layer cake, the Sizzix Big Shot bottle die, and some Moda Bella Solid Chocolate. It was a fun and easy quilt to put together and is backed with Moda Snuggles, which is what I back ALL of the baby/kids quilts I make.
